Will the Curt T-Connector Harness for Factory Tow Package with 5-Way Work On a 2018 Ford F-150

HI there, Wondering if Item # C56584 will work on my 2018 F-150 to connect an aftermarket LED light strip for underneath the tailgate? I want it to connect behind the rear bumper, and be able to use the trailer plug-in on the rear bumper still.
