This coupler features a simple-to-use latching mechanism known as the eZ-Latch. With this mechanism, hooking up is as easy as dropping the coupler over your trailer hitch ball. The latch does not need to be tugged or manually activated to allow the ball into the coupler socket, nor does it have to be secured in place. Just make sure that the coupler is properly lined up with the ball when you lower it, and the rest is automatic. Disengaging the coupler is just as effortless. Simply lift up the handle and the coupler socket will automatically release its grip on the ball.
The contoured, low-profile design of the latch handle helps protect the coupler from damage by allowing any potential hazards - from debris on the road to your ball mount backing into the coupler - to simply slide over the top. This helps prevent anything from getting under the latch handle and releasing the ball, and it can also limit any damage to the coupler should an impact occur
Unlike most couplers, which have a pin hole on the handle latch, the eZ-Latch coupler features a hole on the side of the coupler itself. Inserting a coupler lock through this hole will keep the latch from lifting, preventing disconnect and theft.

Turned out to be a very strong and reliable selection, after modifying a Lil and welding it on after removing the old wimpy hitch, I'm very happy with it.

Product was as described. Had to modify to fit the included angle of our frame rails, but we knew that going in. Well built part that has a high rating for our needs.
This coupler looks like it will do the job. It is very high quality! It is a little overkill for my size trailer, but it is the only one I could find with a 32* angle that will fit my 20 ft. V-nose cargo trailer.
I can't wait to get started replacing my worn out factory coupler with over 16 years and 100,000 miles on it.

The Demco coupler is bad ass. I don’t think even my son could destroy that one. The coupler that was on my trailer was destroyed on a hunting trip and installed the Demco coupler. No more problems.if someone wants a heavy duty coupler that is the one. Just make sure the trailer frame is the correct angle. I only purchase Demvo products because they are the absolute best.
I used this hitch to extend the tongue on my enclosed V nose trailer so I could pull it behind the motor home and not worry about it hitting if you turn to sharp. Worked great and should be plenty strong.
