Your high-pressure propane components need a hose between their 3/8" male flare fittings. This 24" hose joins those connections and gives you 2' between the components.

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look at this MEC 24-inch-long propane hose. So folks, if your propane regulator and appliance are mounted pretty close together, you don't necessarily want or need something that's coiled up or you have to find somewhere to store extra. So this is a great option giving you a short 24-inch, but yet flexible connection for carrying propane between those two components. So again, pretty flexible.
It's a thermoplastic construction, fully cramped brass furrows on both ends. The first thing you always want to do with propane is check your connections. Make sure you have the same connections you're replacing with. In this case, both ends are a three-eighth-inch female flare swivel fitting. Swivel means I can turn this with the wrench to tighten it.
I don't have to twist the hose to tighten everything. Now, it also means I don't have to use thread tape on the threads because the flares are what makes that connection. Now, I highly recommend, as with any propane connection, you check it with leak detection, make sure you got no bubbles, no leaks. We carry that separately, I have number MEC78TR. Again, that's MEC78TR, leak detection sold separately.
Comes in a pink color, puts them on both ends, make sure you got no bubbles once you've got everything re-pressurized. So again, folks, small enough to keep things close together but also flexible enough you can move some stuff around, but not too long till you're trying to quill stuff up, right So this is a 24-inch 3/8-inch female flare swivel on both ends. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching and have a great day.
