Upgrading to LEDs means getting more light with less power. This 8-1/16" x 2-7/8" Optronics tail light uses 18 diodes that shine bright for stop, tail, and turn signals while pulling minimal current — just 0.259 amps for stop/turn and 0.062 amps for the tail light at 12.8 volts. The LEDs last up to 50 times longer than standard bulbs and don’t need replacements or filament checks. That’s dependable lighting you can count on every time you hook up.
This light is built for wet environments with a sealed, waterproof housing that’s completely submersible. The circuit board is fully enclosed so water can’t reach the diodes or cause corrosion over time. Whether it’s rain, spray, or full submersion at the ramp, this housing keeps the electronics safe and working like new.
Instead of juggling multiple lights, this rectangular combination tail light covers seven functions in one: stop, tail, turn, side marker, side reflex reflector, rear clearance, and rear reflex reflector. Designed for trailers over 80" wide when mounted correctly, it meets DOT requirements and FMVSS/CMVSS 108 standards. One light does it all without the clutter of extra wiring and fixtures.
Rough roads and trailer bounce won't shake this light apart. The LED circuit board uses durable surface-mount technology (SMT) that resists shock and vibration better than traditional setups while improving heat distribution for longer diode life. The red acrylic lens and hard plastic housing take everyday use in stride without cracking or clouding up over time.
Installation is simple with the included surface-mount hardware and a 3-wire pigtail setup — white for ground, green for turn/brake, brown for running lights. Once installed on the passenger side, it provides reliable performance that looks clean and professional with no extra adapters or parts needed.

Purchased a set of these lights as replacement/upgrades on my existing standard boat trailer lights. These LEDs lights perform exactly as described. They are completely water tight. After one full year of use, they perform as well as the day I installed them.
Excellent product, Easy to install and electrical hookup. It replaced a busted LED tail light. I leave my trailer lights plugged in when I launch the boat into salt water and have had no problems with the light malfunctioning. Very good light.
Super tail light! Easy replacement for stock tail light. Took me about 10 minutes to install including soldering leads. I always solder because crimp on connectors always corrode on a boat trailer. Had I used crimp on connectors, would have taken 5 minutes. The LED is bright and easy to see even in bad weather.
Have had the light for a year now and the it is still working fine.
Light arrived damaged. The shipping box does not look damaged. etrailer has sent me a replacement as soon as I called.

Still going strong.
Light worked great up to about two weeks ago. Running light portion of light stopped working. Still have brake and turn single light works. A bit disappointed the full function of tail light does not work. With only a year and less than 400 miles on trailer since tail light was installed.

I recommend to first make sure the ground wire of the light is is attached to a clean metal surface on the trailer frame. A bad ground will intermittently cause one of the functions to not work properly. If the ground of the trailer does not prove to be adequate you could run it up to the ground circuit of the trailer connector.
Taillight matched my other trailer light perfectly. Saved me from buying a whole new set. Shipping was super fast and I would suggest your company to anyone who needs trailer products. Will definitely buy from E-trailer again. Thanks

Actually the lights say they are submersible, but they actually leaked and blew out most of the led bulbs. Would not purchase again.
I needed to replace some of the lights on my boat trailer. The old light were incandescent and some of the bulbs had burned out, securing screws were rusted. Product was exactly what I was looking for. Links on each product web page provided very good description and product information.

This light was a much needed upgrade on my boat trailer to make it look more modern and not so old. It is very bright, fit right into the existing holes I used for the old lights and wiring it up could be easier! Have yet to dunk it in the water but I'm sure it will be just fine! Great Product!

These lights are awesome. They survived a year of launching the boat over the summer and Im sure theyll survive much more. Bright as well!
Not sure what happened, but it had to be internally because the second or third time I used it. The tail light portion would not work.
I have 3rd set of optronics on one boat trailer and the second set on the other boat trailer. In the past year the boats were launched a total 12 times. These newer sets with the coated circuit boards and the 'lite pipes' are working better but not perfect. I have a few LEDs 'out on each side on each trailer. We lived in hope but I guess this is the best we can expect? Thanks Tom

Not so good. All the LEDs but a couple on each side are either not working at all or so dim as to be same as nonfunctioning. Great concept but…
This light is a good replacement on my 10 year old boat trailer. Several lights were out on the original equipment light, probably due to it being half full of water. Wires and mounting holes matched exactly which made installation easy.
I used these to add auxiliary tail, turn, and stop lights to my pickup truck. I'm very pleased with the results. Hopefully they'll get people's attention.
