This 6-1/16" x 3-5/8" rectangular light packs 18 LEDs that shine brighter while using less power—only 0.268 amps for stop and turn signals and 0.059 amps for side markers at 12.8 volts. The LEDs don’t have fragile filaments or bulbs to burn out, so you get long-lasting performance without maintenance. It’s a clean upgrade from incandescent lights that waste energy, and the red acrylic lens keeps the beam crisp and visible even in daylight.
Water intrusion is a quick way to ruin trailer lighting, but this unit is built to handle it. The circuit board is completely sealed inside the polycarbonate housing, creating a waterproof assembly designed for full submersion. Whether you’re on wet roads or backing into water, you don’t have to worry about damaged diodes or corroded connections. The all-plastic build also resists saltwater corrosion when rinsed after use.
Installing this tail light is straightforward thanks to its surface-mount design and adjustable stainless steel hardware. The rear mounting slots are spaced 2" center to center, making alignment easy on most trailer frames. The bolts slide in tracks on the back of the housing so you can fine-tune placement before tightening down. Hardware is included, so you can bolt it on and connect the wiring without extra parts.
Instead of juggling multiple lights, this single fixture handles stop, tail, and turn signals along with side marker, side reflex reflector, and rear reflex reflector functions—all in one unit. It’s DOT compliant and P2 rated for direct visibility straight on or within a 90-degree spread. That means fewer components to wire and maintain while keeping your trailer clearly visible from every required angle.
Connecting this light is easy with its three-wire setup—white for ground, green for stop/turn, and brown for running lights. It’s built to work even if your trailer currently grounds through the mounting hardware; just run the white lead to a clean metal surface on the frame. Once wired up, you’ll have consistent illumination every time you hit the brakes or signal a turn.

Only 4 stars because I haven't submerged the lights yet!
Put this on my boat trailer and so far one year later still going nice and bright, ready for this year. This trailer goes off road to a remote site boat landing so the lights will take a bouncing on dirt road, no issues. I always install for hardest possible use, I soldier and double shrink wrap then secure the cables.
Replaced brand new lights on my duel PWC trailer (ComFab) with these LED lights. Perfect bolt up and what a difference much brighter and don't have to worry about one bulb rendering the light useless. I have used ETrailer many times and I expect to continue using them always fast shipping and fair pricing. Probably the beast thing about ETrailer is the web site you can learn and do anything just by watching the informative videos on this site. I can do pretty much anything but it sure is nice to be able to watch a short video if I get stuck or out of my comfort zone.

I have used these in salt water for the last year they look and work perfect. Quality product worth what spent.
First, the products are great coming as described and install was pretty easy. Videos also helpful. Make sure you have a good ground to the trailer otherwise the light will not work as designed. I'm glad I called them before I ordered because otherwise I would have ordered two right lights. (I did not see the left light) I might suggest that etrailer add a note to each product description referencing the complementary (right or left) tail light to make a set. This would have gotten me to the correct items without a call. That said, Jonathon in customer service was helpful and identified the correct items. Order received in good shape as expected. I would highly recommend these guys. Good products, fair price, good service.

The lights fit and function perfectly. Beware of the USPS, however. Their tracking system is terrible, but that is a whole separate issue. Etrailer did an excellent job.
I have been more than pleased with the quality and performance of the Optronics brand lights! These are no exception!
This tail light assembly is a direct replacement on my ShoreLander trailer. The running lights, including four on the side, are a nice feature. The brake/signal light are more intense as expected. Lastly, the dimensions and mounting holes allowed me to bolt them into place without issue!
I, like others, am amazed at the brightness of the lights. They are a huge upgrade over my existing incandescent lamps! I am looking forward to no more burnt/broken bulbs!
I have purchased Optronics tailslights in the past, and am purchasing again as I like the quality/performance of the taillight assemblies. I would buy again and I would recommend to others as well!

A year later and Ive had zero issues with these LED lights. All the individual LEDs continue to work and the brightness has not diminished over time! I have gotten several comments from fellow fishermen on these. They like that they fit nicely on my shorelander trailer and the brightness of the unit! Im extremely happy with these!

item came with the outer lens broken. I need the item immediately so am keeping it. The light came unboxed and in a poly bubble envelope. Not enough cushion in my opinion.

Still working properly on a boat trailer that gets submerged to launch and retrieve. I disconnect power when launching boat as electric and water do not mix. Lot of boat owners do not understand that law of science
I mounted these lights on my Kayak trailer and are super bright and easy to install!!!!

I replaced this passenger side tail light once from Etrailer about a year ago. It was broken off last week by a maintenance guy, moving trailers in our storage lot. I wanted the same light again....great price, easy to install, and included all the parts. I want to thank you for all your help with my trailer you were more helpful than you realize. So this is my trailer for a 22' Flats Cat shallow draft Catamaran. I totally dismantled my trailer and buffed by hand with a wire buffer and sand blasted in some spots and applied multiple coats of some very expensive galvanize paint (Z.R.C.). I installed all new C. E. Smith Carpet (about 80'), seven new LED waterproof lights, new springs, new equalizers, new tongue jack, new wench, new safety chain, new chain brackets, all new SS hardware and a 35' long wiring harness.
I was able to send only one review with a picture of the safety chain and brackets. I'm having a little trouble with the rest..oh some of these items were bought locally or from your competitors, until I found ETRAILER. Your prices were cheaper for the exact same things. Your helpful how to videos were helpful. And Rose, your personal helpful knowledge made my buying experience very pleasant, I actually enjoyed talking to you! Replaced the jet ski trailer light perfectly! Lighting is much brighter than the stock incandescent bulb in all modes and light disbursement is very good, even from the sides.
