Fit perfectly on my trailer and works really well. Solved my cranking problems when connecting or disconnecting my trailer to my tow vehicle. Shipping was nice and quick this time.

by:

Item arrived one day after expected date, but that was due to UPS. etrailer has it processed and out to UPS same day I ordered it, which was a Sunday too. Item arrived great. Was exactly what was described. I could not find this same jack at other stores. etrailer had exactly what I needed and it was cheaper, with a higher rating too. Will order from etrailer again.

by:

It bolted right on trailer and works/cranks easily. Nice it's greaseable as my trailer lives outside.

by:

Great Jack. Works flawlessly. They shipped my order very rapidly the Jack was spot on in the decryption.

by:

I modified spare tire location (needed more tongue weight), so replaced top mount crank jack with side wind version. Shipping speed was upgraded sans asking and received item just before my next trip. Installed in 5 minutes and jack is much more ergonomic than original. Whenever I need anything trailer or pick up truck related, I don't even bother shopping around, for etrailer pretty much has everything! Customer service is outstanding even with returns or replacements. Completely satisfied with product and service.
Thanks for everything Etrailer

Still working fine. Smooth and easy operation. I seriously doubt that I’ll have any issues with the side wind trailer jack.

by:

Simple, strong, and reliable

by:

Work perfectly for the application we intended, as risers for a 30’ belt!

by:

Existing job site trailer jack broke Thursday. Menards, Home Depot, Northern tool, Mill didn't have the needed style in stock. Ordered it up and got here on Saturday. Perfect fit and higher weight rating than previous jack. Cranks smooth.

by:

Outer tube of jack 1.6mm larger than lower hole in frame. Bolt slots were off
. Had to enlarge hole on trailer frame, drill out bolt holes and use washers and longer bolts. Poorly engineered. Of course, made in China!

by:

This is a sturdy and easy to use manual jack. It is replacing a failed electric jack, and I am glad to have a manual jack of this high quality. It is the perfect size for my 3500 lb Rockwood Travel Trailer.

by:

Jack was good product

by:

Installed easy and has been working flawlessly. Had next day delivery.

by:

The TJA-5000S-B jack I ordered was exactly what I needed. It was easy to install. The photos show the old jack and the new jack that I needed so that I could mount 2 bikes on front of my Forrest River A-frame camping trailer.

by:

I've had this installed on my utility trailer for about a year now. It works great. I've had some pretty big loads in it and have had no issues raising and lowering it with this jack.

by:

Package came very quick. Went right on to my trailer. The foot that "matched" the jack I bought did not work. Had to run to a local store and get one that would.

by:

Product came on time, as advertised. Had a hard time believing the low price!! My old jack was so damaged I had to persuade it off with hammer and chisel, but then this jack went on in minutes. Functions smoothly. Couldn't be happier. etrailer has all my future trailer business. Five Stars.

by:

The replacement tongue jack fit perfectly (hole alignment) and the movement is back to the way the original jack worked when brand new. Haven't used it in its full range yet, but so far looks promising. Just a little concerned about the top cover of the jack which appears that it would let rain water into the gear box. I applied a quart size zip lock bag which should keep the rain out.

by:

Great product

by:

Works as advertised. Definitely a great price on this jack.. I use it daily on a 20ft trailer.. lets see how long it last me..

by:

A long search for an American made jack led me to etrailer.com. Turns out the jack was made in China. Disappointed!!

We love to offer parts that are made in the USA. We do not offer a similar jack that is USA made however on any part that is, it will be listed on the product page as Made in USA.

by:

Works as intended. I have it on a small 20ft camper that weighs about 4k Lbs. I recommend adding grease and an adjustable bottom with a quick release pin.

1 year later still working. No problems.

by:

Excellent service nothing but good thin gs

by:

Jack works fine, but arrived with several dings and chips in paint. I realize it will probably get that way eventually anyway, but would expect it to arrive looking new.

These jacks arrive to us in large pallets which unfortunately does mean they are not in the best shape. I am happy to have Customer Service contact you.

by:

Worked perfectly. Easy to weld up and strong as ever!

Easy installation! Just three bolts and back in action...

  • Recommended Replacement Round Jack For Trailer Coupler
It is an easy replacement for you based on the picture you sent. The opening for most A-frame jacks require an outer diameter of 2-1/4 inches. I recommend you use a round jack like the Round A-Frame Trailer Jack - Sidewind - 15-5/8" Travel - 5,000 lbs # TJA-5000S-B, it will be an easy fit without any change to the hole other than maybe cleaning up corrosion. For this application you will also want a footplate like # JF-99. This mount has all three elongated holes for easy mounting. The...

  • Sidewind A-Frame Trailer jack Recommendation for 16 ft Car Trailer
One of the most popular jacks we offer that is for an a-frame trailer that has a sidewind is the etrailer part # TJA-5000S-B which has a 5,000 lb lifting capacity and would work very well for you. For a foot plate to go with it you would want the part # JF-99.

  • Landing Gear Jack Recommendations for a Livestock Trailer
If you are considering a dual jack setup like the part # BD500162 that's what I would recommend. Two jacks will offer more stability and since two jacks will be doing the lifting instead of one the cranking will be a bit easier as well. The easiest to use setup will be a powered landing gear set though as it would only require you to press a button. For that the Reese part # RP500708 would be a great option.

  • Recommended Trailer Jack Options For 1993 Jayco Eagle Camper
For your 1993 Jayco Eagle camper weighing 6800 lbs, I am not sure if you need an A-frame tongue jack for a travel trailer, replacement landing gear for a 5th wheel, or stabilizer jacks. The side jack makes me think 5th wheel or stabilizer jack but I will give all recommendations. If your 1993 Jayco Eagle is a 5th wheel trailer, I recommend the Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear Set - Weld On - 34-7/8" Lift - 5,500 lbs # LG-1. This landing gear has a leg length of 29-1/2 inches with...

  • How Do Bolt-On Round Swivel Marine Jacks Mount to Trailer
The Mounting Kit # MJ-1000B-MK is a replacement part for the Round Swivel Marine Jacks # MJ-1200B and # MJ-1500B which actually mounts to the side of the frame of your trailer instead of in the hole location in your A-Frame coupler area. As long as your trailer frame is 2" to 4" tall this bracket system will work for you. If you're needing a different style that mounts in an A-Frame I recommend either the manual # TJA-5000S-B or electric # EJ-3527-BBX. These have a 2-1/4" outer diameter...

  • Bulldog Topwind Jack that Can Crank with Interference Near Mount
Sounds like your trailer needs a jack with a topwind like the Bulldog part # BD155032. There isn't a way to relocate the handle of the jack you mentioned so a topwind would be your best choice. The topwind jacks can swivel and pivot as needed to which allows them to be even more flexible in how they can function.

  • Will a 5,000 lb Trailer Jack be Easier to Crank than a 2,000 lb Jack
A higher capacity a-frame jack is going to be easier to crank than a lower capacity jack at the same weight. So, what that means is that the etrailer jack part # TJA-5000S-B that you referenced is going to be an easier to crank jack than what you currently have. I attached a review video for this jack for you to check out as well.

All of the wheel casters that we carry limit the jack capacities to 1,200 lbs. We typically carry them for the round A-frame jacks like the Round A-Frame Trailer Jack - Sidewind - 15-5/8" Travel - 5,000 lbs # TJA-5000S-B. We do not carry wheels that will work with the Square Direct Weld Jack # TJD-5000.

I checked out your Sure Trac Dump Trailer Model ST7210DOD-B-100 online and found that it uses a standard A-frame jack so the etrailer jack part # TJA-5000S-B that you referenced would work great as it would bolt right up and has a 5,000 lb capacity.

It looks like the Aliner Scout has a dry weight of around 1350-lbs and a tongue weight of around 135-lbs when unloaded. Since you need a side-wind jack, I recommend using the etrailer.com Round, A-Frame Trailer Jack # TJA-5000S-B which will easily handle the weight of your Aliner Scout trailer; since this jack does not come with a foot plate you'll want to also get the Footplate for 2,000-lb and 5,000-lb Round, A-Frame Jacks # JF-99. • Which Is Easier to Crank, a Side Wind Jack or a Top Wind Jack
All A-Frame mounted jacks like the Pro Series Jack part # PS1400600303 use the same 3-inch mounting hole bolt pattern. In other words, the mounting holes are a universal size and pattern so that any A-Frame jack will fit into any A-Frame jack mount. As long as your trailer has an A-Frame jack mount, this jack will fit. Topwind jacks and sidewind jacks will both require the same amount of force to operate. Personally I prefer sidewinds as the cranking movement feels less awkward and more...

  • Would Bulldog Jack part # TJA-5000S-B Work on a 4,500 lb Trailer
For your A-frame trailer the etrailer Jack part # TJA-5000S-B would be a great option confirmed to fit and would have more than enough capacity. Your trailer will most likely only have a tongue weight of 450 lbs and this jack has a lifting capacity of 5,000 lbs. Using a higher rated jack would be ideal though still as it means the jack will never be strained and will last a long time.

  • Availability of a Powered Trailer Jack with a 3-1/4 Inch Center to Center Mounting Pattern
The powered A-frame jacks we carry (see link) have a standard mounting hole pattern used by most trailer manufacturers. For example, the Bulldog Powered-Drive Trailer Jack, # BD500200, has two sets of mounting holes. One is 2-1/2 inches on center, the other is 3 inches on center. However, you could use a drill to elongate the mounting holes accommodate a 3-1/4 inch pattern.
