  • Is Footplate from Shelby 5793 Jack Compatible with Pro Series Round, A-Frame Jack # PSEA20000340
Footplates for trailer jacks tend to be universal so I would be surprised if the one from your Shelby wasn't compatible with the Pro Series Round, A-Frame Jack # PSEA20000340 that you referenced. The Pro Series Detachable Footplate # PS1400700340 that was made to go with this jack has the standard 1/4" pin so if the footplate from your Shelby has a 1/4" pin and has a tubing diameter of 2" on the jack itself then you can most certainly use your old footplate with the Pro Series jack.

  • Will Pro Series Trailer Jack # PSEA20000340 Replace a Shelby # 5793-24Z
According to the research I did, the Pro Series Round, A-Frame Jack, # PSEA20000340, is comparable to the Shelby jack you have referenced. There are some minor differences. First, they both fit the standard A-frame mounting pattern and have a 2,000 pound capacity and have a top wind design. The differences are in the dimensions. According to Shelby, their jack has 15 inches of travel, the Pro Series has 14 inches of travel. The extended length from the mounting bracket to the bottom of...

  • Required Bolt Length for Installing A-Frame Trailer Jack
There isn't a particular bolt length that is recommended for installing an A-Frame jack like the Pro Series # PSEA20000340 that you were looking at. This is simply because it will really depend on the trailer it is being installed on, as some will require longer bolts than others because of differences in frame/tongue thickness. As you mentioned, Pro Series does recommend using 3/8 inch diameter, Grade 5 bolts with washers but the length will really be up to you. I have attached a sample...

  • Pro Series Round Replacement A-Frame Jack with 3 inch Standard Mounting Holes
I would be happy to help you find a replacement A-frame jack. I recommend the Pro Series Round, A-Frame Jack w/ Removable Footplate item # PSEA2000-14007. This standard A-frame jack has a 2,000 lbs capacity, 14" lift, features an 8" retracted height, and measures 11" from the mounting bracket to the top. The standard mounting bolt pattern on A-frame jacks is 3" on center. I have attached a picture of what the mounting bracket looks like on the Pro Series item # PSEA2000-14007. As you can...

  • Corrosion Resistant A-frame Jack Needed for a Boat Trailer Used in a Salt Water Marine Environment
The most corrosion resistant jack for your application is the Bulldog Round A-Frame Jack, # BD1550101344, that you mentioned. This jack has a clear zinc finish and will last much longer in the salt water environment you described. Stepping up to a 3,000 pound jack will make cranking the trailer a bit easier than a 2,000 pound jack and will help the jack to last longer. If your trailer requires a top wind jack, or it would make turning the handle easier on the A frame trailer, you could...

  • Differences Between Pro Series Trailer Jack # PSEA20000103 and # PSEA20000340
The only difference between the Pro Series trailer jack # PSEA20000103 and # PSEA20000340 is the finish. The part # PSEA20000340 is zinc coated steel and the # PSEA20000103 is powder coated black. Both are corrosion resistant finishes but power coating is better in that regard so that would be what I would go with.

  • Comparing Ram Jack TJA-2000-Z and Pro Series PSEA20000340
The Ram jack part # TJA-2000-Z and the Pro Series part # PSEA20000340 are both pretty similar as they both have same dimensions, lift, capacities, and are made of zinc plated steel. For all intents and purposes they are almost identical. They both have solid reputations too so if it was me I would go with whichever costs less.

  • Replacement Tongue Jack For An Avenger Enclosed Trailer
Hey Eric, You're wanting a tongue jack for your trailer, correct? If so I'll just need to know the GVWR of the trailer to pick out an appropriate capacity jack for the job. If there's any specific features you want for the jack or if you're just wanting a plain old manual jack then just let me know and I'd be happy to recommend something.
