What Might Cause 12 Volt 7-Way Circuit to Blow When Using Powered Trailer Jack

Is the jack overloaded which is causing the excessive amperage draw? What jack do you have? Can you see an amperage rating on it anywhere which would give you an idea what it should be drawing?

It's possible the jack screw/gear is damaged too which would cause the motor to have to work too hard for standard use which might overdraw it's power circuit.

No problem! We have the etrailer A-Frame Jack part # TJA-5000S-B which would work great. It has a 5,000 lb capacity and a sidewind crank which means it will be very easy to crank. I attached an install video for this jack as well as a link to all of the A-frame jacks we offer as well.
