What is the diameter of the hole that would be required on my jack, for this to mount and swivel properly? 2.5?

Expert Reply:
The Mounting Kit # MJ-1000B-MK is a replacement part for the Round Swivel Marine Jacks # MJ-1200B and # MJ-1500B which actually mounts to the side of the frame of your trailer instead of in the hole location in your A-Frame coupler area. As long as your trailer frame is 2" to 4" tall this bracket system will work for you.
If you're needing a different style that mounts in an A-Frame I recommend either the manual # TJA-5000S-B or electric # EJ-3527-BBX. These have a 2-1/4" outer diameter so they will fit a 2-1/2" opening just fine.
