Great Jack. Works flawlessly. They shipped my order very rapidly the Jack was spot on in the decryption.

by:

Simple, strong, and reliable

by:

I modified spare tire location (needed more tongue weight), so replaced top mount crank jack with side wind version. Shipping speed was upgraded sans asking and received item just before my next trip. Installed in 5 minutes and jack is much more ergonomic than original. Whenever I need anything trailer or pick up truck related, I don't even bother shopping around, for etrailer pretty much has everything! Customer service is outstanding even with returns or replacements. Completely satisfied with product and service.
Thanks for everything Etrailer

Still working fine. Smooth and easy operation. I seriously doubt that I’ll have any issues with the side wind trailer jack.

by:

Work perfectly for the application we intended, as risers for a 30’ belt!

by:

Existing job site trailer jack broke Thursday. Menards, Home Depot, Northern tool, Mill didn't have the needed style in stock. Ordered it up and got here on Saturday. Perfect fit and higher weight rating than previous jack. Cranks smooth.

by:

Jack was good product

by:

This is a sturdy and easy to use manual jack. It is replacing a failed electric jack, and I am glad to have a manual jack of this high quality. It is the perfect size for my 3500 lb Rockwood Travel Trailer.

by:

It bolted right on trailer and works/cranks easily. Nice it's greaseable as my trailer lives outside.

by:

Installed easy and has been working flawlessly. Had next day delivery.

by:

I've had this installed on my utility trailer for about a year now. It works great. I've had some pretty big loads in it and have had no issues raising and lowering it with this jack.

by:

The TJA-5000S-B jack I ordered was exactly what I needed. It was easy to install. The photos show the old jack and the new jack that I needed so that I could mount 2 bikes on front of my Forrest River A-frame camping trailer.

by:

Great product

by:

Works as advertised. Definitely a great price on this jack.. I use it daily on a 20ft trailer.. lets see how long it last me..

by:

Package came very quick. Went right on to my trailer. The foot that "matched" the jack I bought did not work. Had to run to a local store and get one that would.

by:

A long search for an American made jack led me to etrailer.com. Turns out the jack was made in China. Disappointed!!

We love to offer parts that are made in the USA. We do not offer a similar jack that is USA made however on any part that is, it will be listed on the product page as Made in USA.

by:

Product came on time, as advertised. Had a hard time believing the low price!! My old jack was so damaged I had to persuade it off with hammer and chisel, but then this jack went on in minutes. Functions smoothly. Couldn't be happier. etrailer has all my future trailer business. Five Stars.

by:

The replacement tongue jack fit perfectly (hole alignment) and the movement is back to the way the original jack worked when brand new. Haven't used it in its full range yet, but so far looks promising. Just a little concerned about the top cover of the jack which appears that it would let rain water into the gear box. I applied a quart size zip lock bag which should keep the rain out.

by:

Works as intended. I have it on a small 20ft camper that weighs about 4k Lbs. I recommend adding grease and an adjustable bottom with a quick release pin.

1 year later still working. No problems.

by:

Excellent service nothing but good thin gs

by:

Jack works fine, but arrived with several dings and chips in paint. I realize it will probably get that way eventually anyway, but would expect it to arrive looking new.

These jacks arrive to us in large pallets which unfortunately does mean they are not in the best shape. I am happy to have Customer Service contact you.

by:

Worked perfectly. Easy to weld up and strong as ever!

by:

Easy installation! Just three bolts and back in action...

by:

VERY PROMPT SERVICE

by:

I bought this for a basketball goal replacement and it worked out GREAT!! It raises the backboard with ease, and my 8 year old daughter loves it. It shipped out faster than I was expecting, and it arrived in just a few days. Awesome job towards Etrailer!!!!!!
I will definitely recommend Etrailer to anyone !!

by:

I love it. The side turn handle is great. I put the flip footer on it and it works great.

  • Replacement Jack for 2014 Legend Enclosed Trailer with A-Frame
It sounds like you likely have an A-Frame trailer, so you can use something like the etrailer Round, A-Frame Jack - Sidewind - 15" Lift - 5,000 lbs # TJA-5000S-B which will attach to the 3 mounting points on the trailer tongue and provide you with a jack with 15" of lift. This jack doesn't come with a foot so you'll also need the Footplate for 2,000-lb and 5,000-lb Round, A-Frame Jacks # JF-99, which is designed for that jack. If you're looking for an electric jack then something like...

  • Possible Solution for Bent A-Frame Trailer Due to Swivel Jack
The frame members of a trailer really aren't replaceable. Your best option will be to take the trailer (carefully) to a fabricator to see if they weld in a new section of frame there. You should also have them go over the trailer to make sure there aren't any other structural issues that need addressing as well. Also be sure not to overload the trailer. It looks like it bent where the swivel jack was initially installed. You might have that front section of the trailer reinforced with another...

  • Trailer Jack and Wheel Caster Recommendation with 15 Inches of Travel and a 1,200 lb Capacity
I have a solution for you, you will need to get the etrailer Round, A-Frame Jack # TJA-5000S-B that you referenced, and then you will need to install a Pro Series 6", Detachable Caster w/ Pin for 2" Diameter Jacks - 1,200 lbs # PS1400750340. The # BTJA-5000S-B has a 5,000 lb capacity, and the # PS1400750340 has a capacity of 1,200 lbs you would have a jack setup with 15 inches of rise, 1,200 lb capacity and has a caster wheel.

  • How Much Grease Should be Used and How Often to Grease Round A-Frame Trailer Jack TJA-5000S-B
On the Round A-Frame Trailer Jack - Sidewind - 15-5/8" Travel - 5,000 lbs Item # TJA-5000S-B you will be good with about 3 or 4 pumps of grease from a grease gun. You will know it is too much if it starts oozing out somewhere! It would be a good idea to add grease 3 or 4 times a year but really it depends on several factors like how often the jack is used, how long it sits, the climate, and so on.

  • Trailer Jack and Coupler Recommendation for Featherlite Bumper Pull Trailer
The Bulldog coupler part # BD44150WH301 is a really great choice for your Featherlite trailer. It'll be very reliable and easy to use so you'll really like it. Then for an a-frame jack we have the zinc coated etrailer A-Frame Round Jack # TJA-5000S-B which has a 5,000 lb capacity. Like I mentioned this has the zinc coating you are wanting which will fight corrosion and has more capacity than you'll need which means it will raise and lower easily. • Trailer Jack to Avoid Tailgate Clearance Issues
There are a few solutions for your tailgate to clear the jack on your trailer. I recommend to use a longer ball mount like # D-26, that would move the trailer back further away from the truck and give you clearance you need. If you know what size the hitch on your vehicle is, the rise or drop of the ball mount for your trailer, if you're using weight distribution or not, and the measurement from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole I can make the best recommendation...

We do have a drop leg that is compatible with the etrailer Round, A-Frame Jack # TJA-5000S-B. • Is Bulldog Trailer Jack # 150010 A Sidewind Or Topwind Jack
I spoke with my contact at Bulldog about the Bulldog Round Trailer Jack without Mount, part # 150010. They told me this is a sidewind jack and measures 17.1 inches when retracted, and 27.1 inches when fully extended. The diameter of the inner tube is 2 inches. This has an open tube and does not have a hole for a pin to mount a foot plate. This jack does not come with any mounting hardware or with any foot attachments. • How Long is the Handle on the 5k Pro Series Round, A-Frame Trailer Jack
What I suggest is a sidewinding handle pointed away from the obstruction like # TJA-5000S-B. But to answer your question the handle measures 6-1/2 inches from the center of the jack to the end of the handle. It is just 1 inch too long so I would go with a sidewind jack. I have also linked powered A-frame jacks for you as another option.

The good news is that basically all A-frame trailer jacks install with the same bolt pattern so the etrailer.com jack part # TJA-5000S-B would fit and work well as a replacement. It has a 5,000 lb capacity as well so in that regard it would work really well too.

  • Can Handle be Moved to Opposite Side of etrailer 5K A-Frame Trailer Jack
The etrailer trailer jack # TJA-5000S-B was not specifically designed to move the handle to the opposite side but you technically could do that. Another option is to use a top wind jack so that the handle doesn't get in the way of anything forward of the jack (assuming you leave the handle pointed away from a possible obstruction). For a top wind 5K A-frame jack, you can use the Buyers Products A-Frame Jack w/ Support Foot - 15" Travel - 5,000 lbs # 3370091265.

  • Can A-Frame Trailer Jack be Removed and Side Frame Mounted Jack Installed
You can remove the A-Frame jack and install a frame-mounted jack on your trailer if you want to. It would not harm the trailer but if you wanted you could weld in some pipe in the old A-frame jack hole or cover it top and bottom with steel plates to ensure rigidity. I recommend a swivel jack, # PSEJ10000101, that can rotate out of the way when you tow the trailer. This jack bolts on up to 3x5 inch frames and has a 1,000 pound capacity.
