It works just like it is supposed to.
Mounting options worked well for a difficult location on my trailer.
The charging wiring has been working for the last year, hopefully it reduces the need to replace the break away battery.
Product seems good at this time and the service is 5 star as always and is the reason that I deal with E-Trailer .

Just great , trailer is in use 7 days a week , April thru October and have not had one problem with the break-away that I purchased . As always , great service and good products from etrailer
Product Died in a few short months. Battery wouldnt hold charge. it never went more than 45 days without use and then it just gave up.
E-trailer said I had to pay return shipping so I just gave up and threw it out.
Every thing was great with one exception, the instructions for the break away kit with the charger do not reflect the unit shipped. Instruction indicate 3 L E D 'S there are only two. There is no yellow to indicate if the unit is charging. But it works well after you get past trying to figure out why your unit isn't charging.
All my parts arrived sooner than expected. The filter and trailer coupler are perfect. The wiring instructions for the Breakaway switch are a bit confusing, but a little research sorted it all out.
After a year later its still working as it should be.
It holds a charge, like that there are Led lights to tell you what your charge is at

Haven't had reason to use it yet. But easy to install. The best of this experience was the help I got from Cathy T. she didn't make me feel like a dummy. I thought she was very knowledgable about the braking system, I know I went away knowning more about trailer brakes.
