Features to know about

Built for Confident Hauling: Load Range C, 6-Ply Strength at 80 psi

When the trailer’s loaded to the max, this setup handles the strain without complaint. The Kenda 5.30-12 bias tire carries a 1,045-lb maximum load at 80 psi and meets DOT specs. The matching steel wheel is rated for 1,250 lbs, giving you solid margin and steady performance run after run. It’s a proven combo for anyone who needs a reliable tire under weight.

Ready to Use Right Away: Pre-Mounted and Inflated Assembly

This tire-and-wheel assembly comes mounted and inflated out of the box, so there’s nothing extra to set up. One owner said it showed up “fully inflated and ready to be mounted,” saving time and mounting costs. Just bolt it on and go—no waiting for shop work or balancing.

Rust Protection That Lasts: Galvanized Steel Construction

Moisture and road grime won’t take this wheel down. The 12" x 4" eight-spoke steel rim has a corrosion-resistant galvanized finish that holds up through long seasons of use. That durable coating not only resists rust but also keeps the wheel’s bright sheen that users call “really sharp.”

Smooth Handling on Rough Ground: Bias Ply Stability

The bias construction uses thick nylon cords laid at 30- to 45-degree angles in alternating layers for strong, uniform sidewalls. That stiffness lets the whole tire flex evenly when rolling over uneven terrain, giving smoother control and consistent handling where lesser tires would bounce or wander.

Straightforward Fitment Every Time: 5 on 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern, 0 Offset

The wheel features a common 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern with a 3.19" pilot diameter and zero offset for easy matching to standard hubs. Wheel bolt size is 1/2"-20, so fitment is predictable without any guesswork—just line it up and torque it down to spec.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

My new spare tire arrived a day earlier than expected! I am really pleased with the tire assembly. The galvanized wheel is a perfect match for the ones on my new galvanized boat trailer. Thanks for your excellent service!!

by:

Shipped on time, no damage in shipping, and fit perfectly. I couldn't be happier with the wheels!

by:

Finish on the galvanized wheels has room for improvement. Otherwise this would have been a 5 star review. Arrived on time and fit like they are supposed to. Warranty and customer service make etrailer my one stop shop.

by:

great product, perfect fit on sea doo t railer

by:

The replacement tires and rims are better than the originals. I expect to be using them for a long time. Along with a great product is the best customer service I have ever had. Thanks to the entire staff!

by:

Good price. Fast delivery

by:

Price was good and shipping was fast, but the finish on these rims (even for the price) is lacking, in my opinion. I didnt' expect a chrome-like finish from galvanized but these things are not something to be proud of. Every one of the 4 I purchased has what appear to be rust spots under the galvanization. Two of them have spots where the galvanization does not seem to have adhered properly. While maybe they will hold up OK for a while, the main reason I purchased new tires AND wheels was because my existing wheels were looking aged. These don't look much better.

by:

Order came in on time and well packaged. My trailer is a 2004 and the new tires and rims made it look much better

by:

Nice wheels fast shipping!

by:

I don't normally write reviews but etrailer staff went out of their way to help so I will put in my two cents. Have only had the wheels/tires for a few days but look pretty good for the price. Will say that the welded seams are a little rough, but appear sturdy.

My boat trailer was stored at previous owners yacht club as a dolly since 96 and most everything rusted out. I now realize I should have picked up a hub kit from etrailer with this wheel/tire combo but had already had a local mechanic replace all bearings/races/seals but tire code was 2004 even though they looked great. About to go on a road trip with the boat/trailer and tires were too old so this new set got me on the road economically and the rims are galvanized as trailer will mostly be in the salt. Got new lug nuts for marine application as well as advised by etrailer associate on the phone. I would advise anyone to call etrailer with questions as they definitely know customer service.

Handy "how to measure" etrailer guide worked out great and I did have the 4.5" 5 lug model so it was a perfect fit. Unfortunately, when torqued to the 75-85 lbs recommended in the etrailer torque guide one wheel lug pulled right through although I think it's just that its time had come. etrailer had the part but I needed it quick and picked it up locally and am ready for my trip.

Not my first time visiting etrailer.com, wont be my last. Not sure if I can update this review, but will try if any wear/durability problems with the Kenda tires.

by:

Put new wheels on trailer and had my "maiden" voyage. All went well.

by:

one wheel was deflated and deformed. both rims had excessive amounts of the galvanized material on them.

by:

Products better than expected. Packed for shipping with care. Arrived promptly. Price nearly half of competitors price.

by:

The offer was fair and the product met my expectations.

by:

The Wheels arrived very quickly and the mounted perfectly for my trailer. All in all quick and easy, could not be happier.

by:

Tires look great, galvanization on the rims shows runs from the application, heavy in places, time will tell if it flakes or stays good and does the job, fingers crossed. Shipping was fast, thanks.

by:

Bought one as spare 3 months ago. So much better then what trailer has as stock wheels and tires. So I bought another to replace both wheels and use old ones for two spares.

Got some wheel locks too.

Excellent! Service! I needed this ASAP as I’m in the road and it arrived fast as light! Thx Savana and crew !!

Great wheels. Actually just sold trailer and the wheels and tires did it.

by:

Tires look great, the wheels have some bubbling in the galvanized finish identical to what other review photos show. Otherwise the price is perfect for a trailer that sits most of the year. Great replacements for the original tires/wheels on my 04 Snowbear utility trailer. I preferred the galvanized look over the white wheels with pin stripes.

Tires have been holding air great, I filled them to 60psi last year and havent had to fill them again. Theyve seen a good amount of weight and miles and still look great. None of the bubbling of the galvanized finish has gotten worse. I would definitely purchase this wheeltire combo again if I had another trailer.

The wheel bearings on my utility trailer gave out and the local Les Schwab wanted an arm and a leg to replace them. They also noted the tires were at the local tread limit and needed to be replaced. So I went searching for lower cost alternatives.

I found etrailer.com on a google search and was impressed by their selection, low pricing and expert help on their website. I ended up ordering two Kenda 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" Galvanized Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range C and two Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,000-lb Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 - Galvanized from etrailer, and also a set of Reese Towpower 74177 Wheel Bearing Protectors from Amazon. My total cost was LESS THAN the price Les Schwab quoted me for bearing replacements for the two wheels.

They are all on my trailer and and look great. I am really impressed by the quality of parts from etrailer and also their great pricing. Give them a try!

Needed a round wheel with a round rubber tire for a spare, this did the trick perfectly. It arrived quickly and upon unpacking it I marveled at how it was as round and rubbery as described. 5 stars!

Glad to hear it was as round and rubbery as you hoped, Emmett! What kind of trailer are you using this for?

by:

I am completely satisfied with these trailer tires/wheels. They were delivered as described fully inflated and ready to be mounted. That alone saved me the costs of mounting these tires. I use them on a utility trailer in which I have hauled several maximum loaded trailer trips with no problems. The shiny galvanization makes them look really sharp!

After a year the tires and rims are still like new. They are holding up just fine even though the trailer is stored outside with just a tarp covering!

  • Is It Safe To Inflate A 5.30-12 Tire To 80 PSI?
Hello Alan, thanks for reaching out. Trailer tires should always be inflated to the max PSI listed on the sidewall. They are not like vehicle/car tires in that regard. Vehicle tires are designed more with ride comfort in mind, while trailer tires are designed to carry weight. Trailer tires are only rated for their max load when they are inflated to their max PSI. Otherwise, the actual max capacity is unknown. It is completely safe and normal for the 5.30-12 tires to be inflated to 80 PSI....

Hey Jan, happy to help! Yes, the Kenda K353 Bias Trailer Tire # AM10068 will fit the Dexstar Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel # AM20122 . The tire size 5.30-12 is designed to fit 12" diameter wheels that are 4" wide and the Dexstar is a 12" x 4" wheel. As for mounting, we do offer this tire mounted on a wheel. Instead of purchasing the tire and wheel separately, I would recommend a tire/wheel combo like # AM30850 , which includes a 5.30-12 Load Range D tire mounted on a 12" x 4" wheel with a...

Hey Nick! Since your # K2MMT5X7 VIN number starts with L1 you need the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2K Axles # AKIHUB-545-2-2K. This comes with new bearings and seals and is pre-greased and ready to go. The trailer comes with 5.30-12 Load Range C tires so for a spare you can use the # AM30850 or # AM30859. We don't have an exact match with the silver wheel so white or galvanized are the only options. If you need anything else feel free to reach out in the comments below.

Hey Zack, Because of the speed rating you're looking for you'll be limited to the Taskmaster # TA69QR (Silver) or # TA79QR (White) if you have a 4 on 4 wheel bolt pattern. If you have a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern then you'll need the # TT53012C and would have to pick wheels like the # AM20132 separately and have them mounted. Each of these options has speed rating M (81mph) and would be the highest speed rating we currently offer under the 5.30-12 tire size.
