Keeping your license plate clearly visible doesn’t have to drain your power. This Optronics mini LED license plate light uses just 0.027 amps at 12.8V while producing a bright, even white glow from its two diodes. Simple license plate light, good price, and easy install.
Product was what I had ordered. It will be used on my ATV Trailer License Plate. We had to move the License Plate from the Manufactures Location to a higher position on the tailgate because the original location was low and the License Plate bolts kept coming out and the License Plate was getting bent all the time. Looks like a good product from what I can tell.
The only issue I have is with the shipping which took over (10) days which was a long time for anything....

We needed something that could light the interior of the concession trailer while the generator was not running. So we installed this light inside to run off the trailer lights hook up. Provides plenty of light for clean up. Perfect fit for my application. Easy install.
Yes, the light is working good. I mounted it just above and on the right side of our entry stairs on our travel trailer and put an off/on switch near by. The regular outside light is an LED and rather bright. This uses very little electricity and is just enough light for the stairs and for a night light when returning after dark.
The light is working great. Since it has a very low amp draw, I wired it to my steps on the trailer and installed down by the steps a waterproof switch. It works great as a night light and to see after dark when going up the stairs. We already had outside led lights, but they are much brighter than needed.
Only 3 LED lights. Not very bright, but it's just for a trailer license plate. Comes with what appears to be 2 wood screws. I had to buy 2 stainless steel machine screws and stainless lock nuts to attach to the license plate holder. I also had to drill a hole in the holder because the housing didn't have recessed built into the back of the mount (so wires would have been pinched when light tightened. Nice light, manufacturer needs to modify back so wires have a place to exit on a flat surface, and they need to provide machine screws/nuts. a normal 5 minute install (2 bolts and 2 wires) took an hour due to having to run to the hardware store and drilling a hole in the license plate holder. Would still buy again
There are 2 wires for this light, both are black, neither are labeled. No way to tell which is power and which is ground. I blew through 5 fuses in my truck and an hour of troubleshooting before realizing I had the wires on this particular light switched.
After that, the light works fine.

Thanks for your review and your business, Brian. We recommend testing the wires on your truck to confirm their function before making connections. Use a tester like 3808 to confirm what function is carried on each vehicle wire.
I used these as exterior door lights (porch light) for my tear drop trailer build. They are perfect for this application. Not too bright, which is a good thing, whether you use them as I did or for their intended use. Top quality. Bright chrome finish.

Still working great as porch lights for my tear trailer. No corrosion or failures at all.
I had reposition the license plate on my trailer when doing trailer modifications. I mounted the plate and light on the fender and the light worked as expected. E-Trailer has the right stuff at the right price at the right delivery time. Thanks

I bought a Road Armor rear bumper for my 4x4 pickup and they recommended etrailer.com and these license plate lights to match up with their bumpers. They are LED so they are brighter than the stock lights. They were easy to install because either wire can be the ground wire and they look great mounted on my heavy duty bumper. Perfect replacement for my damaged incandescent plate light
I have had earlier model , with stainless housing,, this new one has plastic chromed housing. Cheaper to make. The first one lasted 8 plus years .
LPL31CB as used in the flameless heat generators we build for Rain for Rent (used in the natural gas industry). Looks good, works fine, lasts a long time!

So far these led flush mount lights are working great. They're bright and a refreshing update over old incondesant lights. I got these to put on an older camper I purshased. From the photos you can see what was on the camper and I what I upgraded to. The old lights were dull and could barely tell they were lit. These lights bring a modern day update to an 1989 camper. Besides the product being good the shipping was fast and free. And I also like that on etrailers site when your package is in shipment they have a map of the US showing where your package is.
Very strong led light. And very multi purpose. Built a toy hauling trailer for a friend that need some extra light for loading up after dark, and liked to be able to keep a eye on his load after dark. These worked out great, also used some to light up some quads. Very bright for as small as they are. Oh and there are 26 lights on the trailer. Lol no problems with any of them.
A couple of years ago, I converted a single jet-ski trailer to a kayak trailer to hold my two kayaks, and installed new LED stop/turn/brake lights and clearance lights from etrailer.com. The lights worked great, and I used the trailer for a couple of years before I realized that I was missing a light for the license plate! I'm surprised I never got pulled over by the police! etrailer.com came to my rescue again with this great LPL31CB license plate light. It's very bright and really lights up the plate and the ground around the back of my trailer. Recently I added three more small red clearance lights at the back of my trailer, so the tailgaters and crazy drivers have no excuse about seeing my trailer! LED license plate light really lights things up
So far this license plate light has worked flawlessly! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that I thought the original light (same or very similar light) would last "forever" considering how much we use the trailer. In any case, this light thoroughly illuminates the license plate, so it's easy to see for the toll cameras in our area! I really appreciate the support and products that etrailer supplies. The other lights on my trailer (tail, turn, brake, clearance) have worked great, as long as I maintain a good ground connection on the wiring! I recently had a problem with intermittent lights (blinking on and off), that I eventually traced to a bad ground wire INSIDE the trailer-side wiring connection. I replaced the trailer-side connection, re-spliced the other wires, and wired everything through a weatherproof junction box that I bolted (drilled and tapped) to the side of the trailer tongue. The new ground wire is fastened securely to one of the threaded/bolted connections and seems to be working well so far. I used wired nuts to connect the other wires inside the weatherproof box, so it will be easy to replace connectors if they fail in the future.
