How Many Trailer License Plate Lights are Required On a Trailer
Updated 05/05/2015 | Published 05/04/2015 >
Question:
I was looking over the regulations and was wondering if one light or two are needed to be legal? The led light is stamped SAE2 l01 DOT2. Tried them out on bench and they look like a nice light.

You should only need one license plate light like the part # LPL31CB to be legal as long as it properly illuminates your license plate.
I attached a couple review videos for this light plus a help article on trailer lighting requirements for you to check out as well.
