This Yakima BaseLine roof rack gives you a dependable way to carry your gear, even on vehicles without factory rails. The setup includes two JetStream crossbars, four BaseLine towers, and a custom fit kit, creating a solid foundation that holds steady on the road. With a weight capacity of 165 lbs (always observing your vehicle’s roof load limit), you can confidently load up for any trip knowing the system is built for strength.
Wind noise can turn a long trip into a tiring one. The JetStream crossbars use an aero-style shape and push-down rubber strips in the top channels to help reduce wind noise and vibration. Those same strips close back around any mounted hardware, so you don’t have to trim anything or leave gaps that catch air. It’s a clean design that keeps things quiet mile after mile.
These aluminum crossbars are designed to work with most universal cargo boxes, kayak carriers, snow mounts, and bike racks. The top channels accept accessories that slide into place, or you can clamp gear around the bars—whichever fits your setup best. With 50" bars that give you plenty of usable space, the rack easily adapts from one activity to the next without extra parts or tools.
When you’re parked at a trailhead or campsite, it’s easy to protect your rack with Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores, sold separately. Adding them helps deter theft by locking the towers in place so you can leave your vehicle knowing your rack will be right where you left it.
The JetStream bars are made of aluminum for strength without unnecessary weight. Each bar measures 50" long x 2-3/4" wide x 1-1/8" tall, with a top channel that’s 7/8" wide x 7/16" tall and a 7/16" opening. Finished in black and backed by a limited lifetime warranty, this system is built to handle years of hauling without fading or bending under pressure.

Tghe racks have remained on since I installed them correctly, no thanks to your video. I read the manual it came with.
