Driving with a roof rack shouldn’t mean dealing with constant wind hum. These aluminum crossbars use an aerodynamic shape and split rubber strips in the top channels to cut down on noise and vibration while you’re on the road. The design lets you keep things quiet without extra adjustments or trimming—just mount your gear and enjoy the drive.
Trips are easier when one rack handles everything. These WingBar Evo crossbars work with most bike, watersport, snow, and cargo carriers. You can slide channel-mount accessories right into the top tracks or clamp gear around the bars. Whether it’s kayaks, skis, or a cargo box for long hauls, this setup gives you flexibility for whatever adventure comes next.
Some racks require cutting strips before installation, but not this one. The top channels feature split rubber strips that open up for mounting and close back around your attachment once it’s in place. That means no trimming, no wasted time, and a cleaner finish that still seals against wind and weather.
Hauling heavy gear demands a solid rack you can trust. This system includes 2 WingBar Evo crossbars, 4 Evo Flush Rails feet, and a custom fit kit built from durable aluminum. It handles up to 165 lbs (always follow your vehicle’s maximum roof load capacity) and carries a limited lifetime warranty for peace of mind on every trip.
You can upgrade to Thule One-Key System locks (sold separately) for added security. With them in place, both your rack and channel-mount accessories stay locked down when you’re parked at camp or stopping overnight during a trip.
Ratings & Reviews
This is the 2nd large order (hitch components & roof rack) I placed within 2 weeks. Each was processed quickly and arrived ahead of the projected delivery date. Further, the website was extremely easy to use with excellent configuration and installation articles and videos. I dealt with Quinn, a phone rep, who did a great job answering my questions and configuring the equipment. I highly recommend doing business with etrailer.
What a great experience! I spoke or corresponded several times with representatives about technical or ordering issues, and they were uniformly very helpful and courteous. They matched a small difference in price from another vendor and were really helpful in making the decision about what to buy. The Thule items are really high quality and, in spite of instructions that would make Ikea embarrassed, weren't difficult to assemble and install. (I recommend checking for relevant videos online.) I give etrailer.com and the parts an unqualified 5-star rating. One of my best online experiences ever.
Thule products are not the cheapest but they are just so well engineered it brings a smile to your face every time you assemble them. I have 7 year old aero blade bars and bought these foot packs (and fit kit) for a new car. Taking off the old feet off the bars was flawless - every part, whether plastic, rubber or metal is still perfect after 7 years of use and shed storage.
Etrailer were fabulous as usual - initial phone consultation to confirm feet will fit old bars and then quick online ordering etc.
Easy to Install with the proper components. Everything fit my 2019 Lexus RX 350 perfectly
Thule products are built to last decades. So a year later, this is every bit as great as the day I installed the crossbars on my roof.
The Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars were very easy to assemble. I used a YouTube video to review assembly. Assembly was a breeze. The crossbars and attachments made the task of installation of the rook rack simple. The Thule Evo roof rack system is sturdy and good looking.
eTrailer provided the Thule rook rack system very quickly. They are a knowledgeable and friendly company with whom to work.
etrailer was the only place that was able to provide a solution for me! I have a 2022 GLC Benz with panoramic roof. I spent many $$ for Benz’s own cross bars. They looked great…integrated with the roof seamlessly. But I couldn’t open the panoramic roof! MAJOR FAIL!!
etrailer customized a set of Thule cross bars that not only work with my panoramic roof but are quieter and look even better than the Benz product. MAJOR AWESOME to etrailer. Now listing my Benz cross bars on Craigs.
It's been rock solid on my 2022 Sorento PHEV. I combine it with a hitch rack, so it's nice that I can easily remove and reattach quickly. I haven't noticed much wind noise or increase in MPG like I did with an old rack+fairing.
Thanks again for the excellent, professional, knowledgeable customer service. It is refreshing to be able to talk to someone who is friendly and glad to help with specialized needs such as racks, hitches, etc. You won't find that kind of service in a lot of places. That is why I recommend etrailer to all of my friends.
The 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz is getting very popular and lots of people are wondering when a truck rack, or ladder type rack will be available for it. It is a great truck but the roof does not allow larger items like longboard surfboards or SUP boards or kayaks to be installed on the roof. There just is not enough room for standard surfboard racks to be spread out long enough to safely carry these longer items. Thule says 27 1/2" is the standard distance between bars but all of us surfers, windsurfers know that one needs more distance between the crossbars to carry a 9' surfboard or greater. I was going to use the Thule racks I just ordered on my 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz, but it seems there is just not enough room on the roof to get the distance needed. Plus, the roof is kind of rounded toward the front so the front bar will be down at an angle. I ended up putting the rack on my Hyundai Tucson. So, there is a need out there for a different system for the Santa Cruz. Any advice on a roof rack for the Santa Cruz would be appreciated. Maybe I am looking at it wrong and I don't need as much room on the roof as I think to transport a longboard. I know there is a lot of discussion on this subject on the Santa Cruz forums online. I use a 9', and 10' longboard (surfboard).
Thule makes great products
And etrailer makes it too easy to get when needed.
etrailer.com was excellent to do business with. Their website is informative, complete and easy to navigate. Phone service to help confirm availability of my product and their general knowledge of their products was impressive. Product arrived on time and in good shape. Their order tracking system is also very good. I’m very pleased with the Thule Wingbar Evo 135 racks For my BMW X5 with flush roof rails. They are super sturdy, solidly mounted and look good on the vehicle. Mine will be mainly used for surfboards and SUP’s. The assembly and installation was a breeze. The included written instructions would have been sufficient for a seamless installation but I also watched one of many YouTube videos that demonstrated very clearly every step of assembly and installation for this specific set of racks.
Love the racks!! I highly recommend etrailer.com for your roof rack needs.
I ordered the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - Silver - 50" with the Evo Flush Rail Feet for Thule Crossbars - Flush Side Rails and the Fit Kit for Thule Evo Flush Rail and Edge Flush Rail Roof Rack Feet for my 2020 Mazda CX9. I appreciated the product selector to make sure I was getting all the correct parts. I was happy with the products, but I did run into an issue where 1 of the rail feet had a defective bolt which required a replacement. I was very satisfied with etrailer's customer support, and how well they worked with me to get the part replaced quickly. I'm giving this a 4 start only because of the hassle of receiving a defective one initially
Stylish and suites the lines of the Lexus 450h. Quiet when installed - no noise. Beefier than the OEM cross bars by far!
Very pleased with order. Shipped fast, not damaged, all parts accounted for. Easy install, very sturdy, and attractive design. Slight wind noise but that was expected compared to not having a roof rack.
Easy to assemble and install. Love the way etrailer packages everything you need and they all are correct for the vehicle you are mounting them on. Once installed they appear very strong. Installed on a 2023 Chevy Tahoe and did not interfere with the sunroof.
Perfect width for Lexus RX350L. Used with Evo Flush Rail Feet and adapter kit. Also holds roof box well.
I’ve had it on my 2021 Kia Telluride now for a few months and it works great. When I was mounting the forward bar, I opened the sun roof to make sure I was comfortable with the roof window and bar clearance.
Rock Solid and good looking. Expensive but worth it!
Thule Rack looks awesome on my Kia Telluride. Products took a while to get to me because they were on backorder but it's not etrailer, they were on backorder everywhere. I messed up one of the pieces of rubber while installing and etrailer sent me a new one at no charge. Definitely recommend etrailer.
Website is easy to use & is better at putting together the correct package than Thule’s site.
etrailer had all the parts in stock for my 2020 Kia Telluride.
Payment process was simple.
Received periodic updates from staffer on my order & could actually reply if needed.
Installing the roof rack went well. Estimate start to finish was about 2 hours. Found it best to really examine each diagram in Thule’s step by step instructions to get it all right on the first try.
Hardness part of the installation was getting the crossbars installed at the proper distances. A tailor’s soft measuring tape & some masking were great aids.
Fit perfectly. Well engineered and designed. Aerodynamic’s is great.
Thank you.
Thule has great quality and trailer is a great place to order from, highly recommend both!
The crossbars don't make noise while driving and the aluminum bar itself is 50" not including the plastic end cap, unlike some other brands. Perfect size. The rubber strips are badly designed, though. One blew off in a thunderstorm. Etrailer was great about addressing the problem. Even though it wasn't covered under warranty they promptly sent new ones.
It took me a VERY long time to figure out what I needed to mount my Hullivator on my 22 Subaru Outback Limited. I bought the wrong parts on round 1, and finally after 2 yrs of frustration, asked AI what I needed. I don't entirely trust AI, but it got me on the right track. I asked the 'chat' person on etrailer about the AI suggestion, and the gal who helped me, Autumn, said the feet part was correct, but to use these feet and the TH37CE fit kit. I ordered immediately. Today was the day. Of note, the fit kit has specific parts for the front and rear passenger and front and rear driver side. Pay attention to the photo directions. The parts are different for each side. On my Outback, they mount at 69cm apart on the Subaru rails (folded in) on the Thule Wingbar Evo 55" bars. The cladding and design of the Outback roof system leaves much to be desired, but this worked and I'm looking forward to FINALLY using my Hullivator.
