Question:

Good morning. My wife just purchased a 2022 Mercedes GLC 300 with the roof rack. The problem, which I am sure you know, is that the sun roof will not open with the racks. I have read that Thule makes one that will fit but the most recent articles I have read are for the 2021 models. Do you have a rack that will still permit the sun roof to open without having to take the rack off. Thank you

The roof rack I recommend using for your 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 is the Thule WingBar Evo system which uses the following parts:

47" WingBar Evo Crossbars - # TH711220
Evo Flush Rail Feet - # TH710601
Fit Kit - # TH186020
Lock Core Kit - # TH450400

We actually had the opportunity to install this same system on a 2019 MB GLC which I'm attaching for you to check out. If you jump to the 3:00 minute mark you can see where we open up the top window panel and it clears the roof rack just fine. We haven't had the opportunity to install this on a newer GLC 300 but hopefully this helps out!

Thanks for this information. Does the same Thule WingBar Evo fit over the sunroof of the 2023 MB GLC 300 AMG?
