Hi, I have a 2024 Kia Sportage SX Prestige hybrid with sunroof/moonroof. We would line a small roof rack, but that would not block the sunrise. Maybe sitting near the rear of the roof area. Can you suggest a rack that would work? Thank you!

Hello Paul, thanks for reaching out. We do have roof rack fits for the 2024 Kia Sportage SX Prestige Hybrid. If your vehicle has the factory raised rails on the roof I recommend the Yakima TimberLine Roof Rack for Raised Rails # Y72GD.
Keep in mind that you do NOT want to open the sunroof with the roof rack installed. This will be the case with any roof rack. There is no guarantee the crossbars will clear the sunroof. Plus a lot of roof rack accessories drop down beneath the crossbar which decreases the clearance.
Also the crossbars can generate a good bit of road noise so you really would not want to open the sun roof while driving anyways since it would be so loud. The Yakima roof rack I mentioned can be easily removed so if you don't want it blocking your view you could just remove it temporarily.
Please note that if your Sportage has the factory flush roof rails you will want to use the Thule Roof Rack # TH97SG instead.

Thanks for the info, Jesse. I was thinking a short roof rack that would sit behind the sunroof. I think maybe it would be called a Half Short Roof Rack. Do you have something like that available that would work? Thanks!
