Which Roof Rack Will Fit My 2014 Scion iQ Using 1547 Fit Kit?

Question:

2014, Scion IQ Hello, I recently found an out of production fit kit that fits my small car. It is fit kit #1547. My question is will this old fit kit fit either the 480 or the TH480R? I understand only square bars fit the 480 which is not necessarily an issue. However, the width of the support bars is going to be shorter than normal. Something like 48 inches. Would using a square bar or the newer designs give me more sizing options? Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

Thule does not have a roof rack for your 2014 Scion iQ so I can't say for sure if the 1547 fit kit will work for you, but if you do decide to use that fit kit then I will give you some options to complete the roof rack.

The older Thule Traverse Fit Kit 1547 is compatible with Rapid Traverse Feet for Thule Crossbars - Naked Roof - Qty 4 # TH480R. You don't want to install crossbars that are wider than your vehicle due to safety and state laws; it looks like your 2014 Scion iQ has a width of about 66" so you could install Thule Wingbar Evo Crossbars 50" Black # TH711320 or # TH711300 for Silver.
