Question:

I have a 2025 Yukon XL AT4 and was wanting to mount the Yakima LockNLoad Platform Roof Tray - Aluminum - 84inch Long x 49inch Wide Y05047 on top using the Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack for Flush Rails - Aluminum - Black - Qty 2 TH94CG and Crossbar Clamps for Yakima LockNLoad Platform Rack - Qty 2 Y05039. It says that it should have three cross bars to mount the platform. First question, will the above set up work on my car? Second, if three cross bars are needed, do you guys sell or have a used single TH94CG seeing as I don’t need 4. Third, if you don’t sell a single aero bar, and I have to end up getting two pair, could I mount all 4 aero bars instead of just three, and would that increase the static and dynamic load carrying capacity? Lastly, how far apart should I mount the 3 aero bars or 4 aero bars? Thank you for your time!

Hey Alex! It looks like you went ahead and settled on the Thule Caprock Platform Roof Rack # TH76XE. This only requires two crossbars so the Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack for Flush Rails # TH94CG will allow you to mount it on your 2025 Yukon XL AT4. I see you also picked up extra feet # TH710601 and a fit kit # TH95JW. Were you planning to use them separately to mount the Caprock? The # TH94CG is a complete roof rack that includes the feet, fit kit, and crossbars.

So can I just mount the TH76XE directly to my AT4 with the feet TH710601and fit kit TH95JW without the TH94CG? I bought the TH94CG from you guys two weeks ago and I haven’t taken it out of the box. I could return that if I don’t need the TH94CG.

@Alex there are multiple ways to mount it, take a look at the instructions for the # TH76XE listed below and you will see the options. Mounting it directly on the feet is possible but it also comes with the crossbar kit for mounting on roof rack crossbars. If you don't mind it up there all the time and don't need a roof rack for other things then the full roof rack isn't necessary. If you like having the option to remove it when you aren't using it, and still having a usable roof rack for other accessories, I would stick with the roof rack mount using the crossbar kit. One way or another you did order two sets of feet and two fit kits.

@Alex you will need to reach out to our customer service department for that. I can put in a note to have them call you but if I were you I would call them right now to make sure you stop it before our warehouse gets it shipped.
