Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Truxedo replacement header seal. This is going to replace the header seal on your Truxedo Lo Pro soft roll-up tonneau cover. And it's going to seal the gap between the header and truck bullhead or the tailgate. And this has a total length of 5.5 feet long. And then looking at the overall width, as you can see there, we're sitting right at an inch and a half.
And this seal is directly from Truxedo, so you can trust that it's going to fit right in place of the original. You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues or fitment issues or anything like that. Instructions are included to walk you through the installation process. So if you are needing to replace the front header seal or tailgate, rear header seal on your Lo Pro soft roll- up tonneau cover, this is going to be exactly what you need. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today.

Good delivery time from etrailer.com, ordered Sunday evening, received Thursday midday. Only takes a minute to replace the rear tailgate seal on my TruXedo Lo Pro tonneau: pull off one plastic end cap from the rear aluminum header cross member; slide out the old seal; slide in the new seal; trim to size with scissors (seal is 10 inches longer than needed for my Tacoma); reinstall end cap. There are two sizes for this seal: 1.5" wide and 2.25" wide. I replaced the old 2.25" wide seal with this new 1.5" wide seal (because of availability) and it's still wide enough to seal to the tailgate of my Tacoma. 15 year old tonneau looks like new now.
Needed a replacement Truxedo tonneau cover for my 2007 F-150. Contacted etrailer to find a replacement cover and the outstanding customer service by Diana H and Heather H provided me the information I needed to order the correct replacement parts, I Had the parts in three days and the instruction sheet and available videos by etrailer with directions on how to install the new tonneau cover and seals made the replacement cover easy to install and the cover is a perfect fit!

this is great I couldn't find this anywhere else then here. It came in Long so I had to cut it to the correct dimensions. My truck bed content will finally have more protection against rain and snow.
seal I ordered is the right length and installed fine, but is about a 1/4 inch to narrow, does not touch tailgate like the original one, not providing a seal
Excellent replacement. As other reviewers have said you do need to cut it but what I did was match it up to the header seal I was replacing by placing on one end and cutting the other end off. Couldn’t be happier. Fits just like the original. Thanks etrailer!

Still perfect no issues.
Very happy with the products and service received. The products were as advertised and came on time as promised. They were the correct replacement and fit for my TruXedo Lo Pro QT hardware weather stripping and header seal. Header seal for the front and rear fit perfectly with only a slight bit of trimming. Sorry, don't have any photos to share, but it looks great.

I am still very happy with my TruXedo Lo Pro QT hardware weather stripping and header seal. Header seal for the front and rear fit perfectly with only a slight bit of trimming. After a year it performs and looks like new.
The seal strip on the back of the Truxedo bed cover started going bad -- disintegrating -- several years ago. Tried fixing it with black electrical tape thinking that a replacement would cost a fortune. The replacement strip was about $15 with shipping and was easy to install following the simple instructions.

Bought the rubber strip for my toneau cover. Product arrived quickly, was easy to install. I will eventually need other replacement parts such as the latch. Will not definitely make my purchase from etrailer. Thanks guys, you're great.

This seal is a great replacement for my torn rear (tailgate) header seal on my Truxedo Lo Pro QT. I simply had to trim a bit off one end to match the exact length of my old one. This part was very easy to change and fits perfectly. Thank you!
The item was what I was expecting and fits perfectly (cutting to size is necessary and item plenty long to do it right). Was surprised how well it was packaged in heavy plastic bagging. I am quite satisfied with this purchase.

After a year it is as good as it began - holding up well.
Great easy replacement to updated and make my tonneau cover good again. Not sure what caused the problem to begin with but the previous seal began to melt and fall apart. After a year with the replacement it still looks brand new and continues to make a good seal. I would recommend this as a direct replacement if yours is bad, it is not an upgrade, just a like for like replacement.
I just purchased a f150 that already had a truxedo low pro tonneau cover installed but was missing the rear header seal by the tailgate.I ordered a new one from etrailer and received it in a timely manner and pricing was very low compared to other websites. Install was just as fast and easy although I did have to trim about 3 inches off one end to make it fit. Now the inside of my truck bed is waterproof again.
The Header Seal for the Truxedo Lo Pro QT tonneau cover installed within a matter of minutes. Simply pull off an end cap, pull out the old seal, and slide in the new.

Product came right away. Fit exactly as old one. Came with instructions easy to follow. If you have a Truxedo cover it is worth the extra money to buy the the extra latch to lock it down. The cover is more stable and the rear bar latches down the cover its self more evenly. I also got the header seal cut to match old one install time three minutes. Other complained they had to cut off a little but saving of $20.00 and one minute was worth the time. Last of of all the latch material was much better then the original. Would recommend the product.
Needed to replace a leaky header seal on my Truxedo Lo Pro. As usual etrailer had it in stock.(don’t they have everything in stock)? Quick ship, quick fix. I’m happy now!
Bought to replace the seal at the front of the bed. Again, very easy to take off the old one and put on the new one. Don't understand why they can't make to size which forces you to cut to size. I'm sure it's because they want to be able to use same piece for multiple sizes along with making it work for the front seal and the tailgate seal. That was the only negative.
