Today we're going to take a quick look at the replacement Velcro strip for Access Tonneau covers. This is going to measure one inch by 17 feet. Now this is going to be the truck bed side Velcro strip for your tonneau cover. This is going to be the hooks and it's going to attach to the top rail of the truck bed side. This is going to be compatible with the Access Tonnosport and the Vanish Tonneau covers and it should be enough length that you can fit a long-bed but you can trim it to length for those short-beds. Just use maybe a razor knife, a pair of sturdy scissors, and cut that to length as you need it.It's going to come with our Velcro strip with a little keeper there.
This is just to help to keep it all together in shipping and then we'll also have our four self-tapping screws to get the strip in place. This is going to be a length of 17 feet so it should be plenty of length to fit both sides even with a long-bed truck and then we're going to have that one inch width. That's going to do it for our quick look at the replacement Velcro strip for Access Tonneau covers.

Only note is that it didn't improve the adhesion to the top cover. The top cover is also worn. I should have replaced that as well
I recently purchased the sure-bond replacement strip for my truck. When the package arrived, the strip was too wide for the track. I contacted etrailer and Donna M was. It went great the cover locks down very easy to replace the Velcro it saved me a lot of money
1inch wide velcro did not fit like the factory Access brand velcro. The sides were not tapered so i wasnt able to get it to work. Would not slide into the grooves. Spent almost 3 hours on it. Very frustrating!

This velcro part # A60270 is designed for Access Tonnosport and Vanish tonneau covers. If you have a soft roll up access rover you will need velcro part # A40625.

The velcro strip was just as described and it works great.
My cover now stays closed when I drive. No more flapping in the wind when going down the freeway.

Its been a year and the strip is still holding strong.

great, couldnt be happier
The Velcro always goes bad on these things, thought I could replace it instead of buying a whole new cover. Sure I could find strips at menards but this stuff is definitely different: it has a stiff backing and is a little shorter than the oem strips. Super easy to replace with instructions. Videos online as well. Not a bad price on etrailer, bout half what I was finding elsewhere. Came faster than I expected. Happy with etrailer again and this product. This is my one year review.

I have the truxedo x15 bed cover and I needed to replace the 1" wide velcro strip. Even though this product wasn't made for my cover, it worked perfectly!
Fast shipping, well made product that my factory chevy sverado tonneau cover stuck to again! Only problem was the factory rail grooves were slightly wider than one inch so i had to use rivets every foot or so and kept the lower groove firmly holding the strip. Heres hoping it works! If it weren’t freezing cold, i would have used an adhesive glue too.
Worked great for replacing worn out Velcro for tonneau cover. No adhesive on back so I just used a few small screws.
