Tow Bar and Braking System Recommendation for 2016 Chevy Equinox that's Flat Towed

Hello, I have a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox front wheel drive with a blue ox base plates. What is the best choice for tow bar and brake system? Thank you

Hey Thomas, the Blue Ox Avail tow bar part # BX7420 would be a really great option. It's very easy to use and has longer arms which allows the towed vehicle to track a little better behind the tow vehicle.
Now if you wanted a braking system that doesn't require a lengthy install but does require placing in the vehicle floor boards every time you tow you'd want the Blue Ox Patriot part # BLU37TR. If you wanted a permanent install type system you'd want the SMI DUO Stay IN Play # DM86VR if the motorhome does not have air brakes and the Air Force One # DM26VR if the motorhome does have air brakes. Both of these have the best performance while not having as involved of an install.
