Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this replacement tailgate top seal for the Pace Edwards Retractable Tonneau Covers. This part will replace the seal between the top of your tailgate and your tonneau cover. It is designed to fit the Pace Edwards Bedlocker, the Full Metal, the Jack Rabbit, or the Switchblade tonneau covers. It is a rubber material. It is made in the USA.
I'll give you the length and the width. If you put a tape measure on the overall length, it's going to be right at 63 inches. The width on it is going to be right at 1 1/2 inches wide. And I just wanted to zoom in just to show you a cutaway of the end, just to give you an idea of what the design of the seal looks like. Fits your Pace Edwards Bedlocker, Full-Metal, JackRabbit, or Switchblade tonneau cover.The replacement tail gate weather strip works better than the original at stopping water from entering the bed of my truck it also seems to be stiffer than the old one which helps it maintain its shape.
So I bought this because I have a retractable bed cover from another company that decided to discontinue my model and stop making any replacement parts. I looked at the photos and design of this top seal and thought it was worth a shot. I must say the quality of rubber is very good compared to the last. This feels much thicker and better quality. I had to do some modifications by shortening it a few inches, but if you look at the photo it fits just fine. Thanks for fast shipping and a good product.

I had no issue with the product itself, just the way it was shipped and lack of installation help.
Came rolled up in small box. Had some deep creases, even after installing. Hoping they work their way out.
There should be some type of in instructions on how to get Jackrabbit rail end caps off. This would have made the installation a minute or two. I never did figure out how to remove the end cap. So, I had to go to Plan B which was a painful hour plus to get the seal in the channel.
Fit into slot on cover like it was supposed to! VERY PLEASED AS SALES PERSON SAID "IT MIGHT FIT" so for only $50 give it a try.My cover was old so he was not sure it would fit old cover
It was a little difficult to slid into slot because lack of room along edge of cover and rail.
Good quality material, only thing was had no instructions on what side goes up, but other than that the installation was a breeze .
Ordered on a sat and was in my hands on Wednesday for free shipping that was fast. Product fit perfect was easy to install. When I need something else I will define come look at etrailer first.
Perfect replacement! I highly recommend lubricating the channel and the seal prior to applying.

Seal is still holding up very well after a year being parked outdoors. Great product!
Product looks exactly like the original but maybe thicker which is better!!
Quality and delivery good. The seal was difficult to install. Some instructions on the best way to do it would have been helpful.
I used a silicone lubricant on the seal and groove to get it to slide in but using a lubricant may cause it to easily pull out of the groove also.
Package was delivered in a timely manner. It appears to be what I needed. I have not installed it yet, I’m looking for installation directions online. I will follow up once it is installed.

The merchandise was folded up and mailed in a small box. This has caused the rubber strip to have fold marks and distortion that has not gone away in two days of keeping it straightened out. This was a very poor method of shipping and not up to the usual etrailer standards.

Part fit as it should no problems and so far no shrinkage
Took a while to get here as the part was back ordered (two months), but the seal wasn't critical so not a big deal. Fit perfect, exactly what I needed.
I was much satisfied with the service and the fast response I got from Etrailer, as a senior their web site is easy to follow which made it easy for me to place my order,and I received my order in a timely fashion, thank you very much.

The remote doesn’t always work. Sometimes you have to jar or push in the cover to get it to engage.
Perfect! Exactly as described. Already installed and works as expected. Relatively easy DIY project.
Product came coiled in a small box. Had to lay it in the sun to straighten it out. Once straightened out it was fine. It should come with installation instructions. Looks like a very good product.
Definitely lighter weight than original, and the height is less. I suspect it is due to being lighter material. Works as promised.

After a year the weather strip is holding well. There has been no leaks and the strip continues to keep its shape. Very durable.
