Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this replacement tailgate top seal for the Pace Edwards Retractable Tonneau Covers. This part will replace the seal between the top of your tailgate and your tonneau cover. It is designed to fit the Pace Edwards Bedlocker, the Full Metal, the Jack Rabbit, or the Switchblade tonneau covers. It is a rubber material. It is made in the USA.
I'll give you the length and the width. If you put a tape measure on the overall length, it's going to be right at 63 inches. The width on it is going to be right at 1 1/2 inches wide. And I just wanted to zoom in just to show you a cutaway of the end, just to give you an idea of what the design of the seal looks like. Perfect replacement for my worn out tailgate top seal. Easy to installed and works just like original. Good value
Seal is exact match to factory. The issue is being folder up in the box verses rolled up. Creases are so bad you can't install and keep it in the track. Even setting after days in the hot sun, still has bends. Pops out of the track in multiple places where the bends were at.
I received the part sooner than expected and the rubber trim fits perfectly. Thanks for a great replacement
Item was folded in small box. Unfortunately where the seal was folded there is small splits. It has been installed but unsure if product will holdup because of small splits everywhere it has been folded!
I called for helping making sure I was ordering the right tailgate cover. They were quick to answer, knew exactly what I needed, processed it quickly, and it arrived very fast. I was very impressed.

Ordering was really easy. The item arrived within a few days. I removed the old one trimmed and installed the new one. The installation was easy.
Package was delivered in a timely manner. It appears to be what I needed. I have not installed it yet, I’m looking for installation directions online. I will follow up once it is installed.

Product work great. I was able to cut to size. It was simple to install once I figured out what was needed. If you just remove the screws from the aback track and pull the cover out about 4 “ you can remove and slide the new part right in. My seal was very brittle so I used a screw driver and wd40 to clean channel. Tip place some dish soap in the channel before you slide the new price on. It will go on much easier. After one year the new seal works great, I have not had a leak yet.

Excellent company to do business with. My tailgate top seal fit perfect!
A little tricky to put on. should come with a quick set of instructions. I.e. slip in the bottom edge first and WITH A BUTTER KNIFE firmly push down the top edge to lock into the slot). At first I used to sharp of an instrument and it cut the edge as I pushed. Luckily there was plenty of material to recover from that mistake.
The replacement tail gate weather strip works better than the original at stopping water from entering the bed of my truck it also seems to be stiffer than the old one which helps it maintain its shape.

After a year the weather strip is holding well. There has been no leaks and the strip continues to keep its shape. Very durable.

So I bought this because I have a retractable bed cover from another company that decided to discontinue my model and stop making any replacement parts. I looked at the photos and design of this top seal and thought it was worth a shot. I must say the quality of rubber is very good compared to the last. This feels much thicker and better quality. I had to do some modifications by shortening it a few inches, but if you look at the photo it fits just fine. Thanks for fast shipping and a good product.
