Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we can take a look at this replacement key fob for the Power Tracks Retractable Tonneau Covers that have the serial number 1701 or higher. Now this part here is gonna replace the key fob for your Retrax Power Tracks Retractable Tonneau Cover. If you notice on the key fob, it has three buttons. The top one is the star button, that'd be for the light or for pairing this up to your tonneau cover, the C will be for close and the O will be for open. Now as we mentioned, this is designed to work with the Retrax Powered Retractable Tonneau Covers with a serial number of 1701 or higher.
And just to give you some help, that serial number label is located under the cover next to the lock assembly on the tailgate extrusion and the serial number is either eight to 14 digits and it may or may not include a letter in it. I popped up an insert just just to show you what we're talking about there. But that's gonna do it for a look at this replacement key fob for the Power Tracks Retractable Tonneau Covers.

FOBs work great, BUT I had to search very hard to find out how to program them. I’d suggest you send the instructions with the order!!!

Hi Mary! I have the process listed below. Sorry We didn't have it on the site before. 1. Disconnect power to receiver for 2 minutes. Connect receiver to power 2. Press the STAR (Light) button for 1 second to clear the current internal code 3. Press "C" and "O" button at same time until the small indicator light on key fob begins flashing 4. Release the buttons Let me know if this does or does not work.
