What you can do is pair it with Gen-Y stacked receivers like the # 325-GH-303 with a 5" rise/drop or # 325-GH-304 with a 7-1/2" rise/drop. The design prevents any reduction in hitch capacity like other adapters and will get you the extra clearance.
