Cranking by hand can wear you out fast. This electric A-frame jack does the lifting for you with the push of a toggle switch. It offers 18" of screw travel plus another 5-5/8" from the drop leg, giving you a total lift of 25-1/8". With a 3,500-lb lift capacity, it handles heavy tongues easily so you can hitch and unhitch without breaking a sweat.
When you’re getting ready to camp or load up, every minute counts. The drop leg on this jack adds extra height quickly and locks solidly in place with a pin and clip. You can set it exactly where you need it and start lifting right away—no endless cranking to take up slack.
Outdoor use means rain, dirt, and sun exposure, but this jack is built to handle it. The black powder-coated outer tube and zinc-finished inner tube and footplate resist corrosion over time. The sturdy steel construction stays solid under load so your trailer feels steady once parked or stored.
Two easy toggles control everything—one for power, one to extend or retract. The LED light shines down toward the coupler so you can see what you’re doing after dark or before sunrise. If you lose battery power, the included manual crank lets you raise or lower the jack by hand to keep things moving.
Hookup is straightforward. The jack bolts on using the standard A-frame pattern (hardware not included) and wires directly to a 12-volt power source with 12-gauge wiring. A serrated washer is included for grounding so you get reliable power every time you press the switch.

That looks great on your trailer! I am glad we were able to get you set up and find that great replacement. What kind of trailer did you end up installing it on?

The jack is still working fine. I had to replace the electric updown switch shortly after installing the jack all rusted inside the switch I installed a better quality switch and waterproof cover.

Still working well, over a year later. From -30f to 90f and I havent had an issue, except for the light lense got busted. I keep a cover over it which I believe 100 makes a world of difference.

Jack is still slow and steady and has worked perfectly since installation... The adjustable foot unit is about an inch too tall for at lowest position some sites, based on low hitchball height of our tow vehicle, but we have used the shorter foot from prior jack as an alternate, and that solved problem...

I am glad to hear it is working great for you minus the factor with the tailgate. I know it may not be the biggest deal but I am sure it still plays a part in how you go about towing! Great to hear you got a cover to protect is from that southern sun. What kind of trailer did you install it on?

Love hearing how easy the swap was and, even better, that the jack has already been put to work on 10 camping trips without missing a beat! Sounds like it has definitely earned its spot on your R-Pod. Thanks for sharing the pictures as well. What was your favorite trip out of those 10?
