The etrailer brand # EJ-3527-BBX is equipped with a 7-way plug that technically can be plugged into the 7-way trailer connector on your 2020 Ford F-150, but it will not function due to the "intelligent" towing package these come with now. This makes your towing functions only operate when your truck detects a trailer with electric brakes.
This being said, your best bet would be to install a battery on the trailer and run a powered jack from that. The etrailer # EJ-3520-BBX jack is designed to be wired directly to a trailer mounted battery. You can wire the 12-volt feed from the 7-way to the trailer mounted battery. It won't charge the battery completely if it gets depleted, but it will provide a maintenance charge.

You can use the EJ3527-BBX with a late model Ford, but you need to make sure you follow a few rules. 1) Connect the trailer and make sure the truck recognizes it's connected, and your trailer has power. 2) Now for the "trick". With the trailer connected, leave the key fob in the truck and make sure you close the door when you exit. 3) Disconnect the trailer, plug in your jack and you will have power. Tim
