Hey Patty, the a-frame trailer jack we offer that has the best tailgate clearance is the Ultimate Trailer Jack part # 322-RDJ-2K which allows you to vertically adjust how high the crank handle is. Otherwise if you are looking at a powered a-frame jack like the # EJ-3520-BBX you can install these rotated so that the motor is off to the side. Which style are you looking for?
