Everyone reviews the horrible shipping conditions but etrailer seems to not be concerned. My box came opened, missing hardware but what do you expect when there is no packing to stop these from moving and one piece of packing tape

Comments
I am sorry to hear that you were missing the hardware upon arrival. I have sent your information over to our customer service department for them to look into a replacement.

Our trailer's OEM 'stabilizers' didn't do much. There was a lot of movement, most noticeable at night when one of us got up for the facilities. Enough rocking to wake the other up!

Used bottle jacks instead for a couple of seasons, but they were putzy and took up valuable truck bed space. Just installed these yesterday--a snap! They're as stable as the bottle jacks, and much more adjustable than the OEM stabilizers. They deploy and retract easily with a power drill fitted with a 3/4" bit. Should have done this years ago.

The packaging was inadequate for the product. There was four jacks each weighing approximately 10 pounds. They were merely stacked loose in a box with a 6 foot piece of wrapping paper. The box was torn and broken when it arrived and one jack was partially out of the box. The product has minor deep scratches that I intend to cover with Rust-Oleum to prevent rusting. Not a good situation.

Comments
I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you about the damage that the jacks have taken.

Very pleased with product. Heavier duty than I expected.

by:

Well built, well finished, no instructions in box but I think there is a link provided. I am very satisfied.

by:

These are exactly what the trailor needed. Able to easily adjust the jacks to level the trailor. Ample mounting holes for easy install. It took less than 2 hours to install all 4 jacks including drilling into traolor frame.

by:

Great price, fast shipping and easy ins tallation.

by:

Excellent customer service and part was exactly as required. Highly recommend e-trailer!

by:

Received the Items as quickly as possible and n great shape! The prices I have found on these and other items have met or beat everything I found on Amazon.... but best part is the communication and the warranty and the service that CANNOT be found on he other big name online sellers!

The stabilizers are just what I needed for my wifes 20' camp trailer, they are most probably much bigger than needed, but "bigger is better!"

Thanks to Michelle to the continual follow-up!

Easy install, all 4 installed in less than an hour on a trailer that had no stabilizers previously.

Check out the wife's fishing rig!

by:

Excellent! Fairly easy to mount and works great.

by:

Very good product this far, just got them so have not put them to test yet.

by:

Work great

by:

Very quick delivery and exactly what we needed.

by:

The jacks are well made and their operation is strong and smooth. The mounting is no problem with with plenty of hole options in the mounting plates. Our trailer is small so I suspect they will last a very long time!
I gave four stars based on the shipping of such large heavy items all in one box is problematic. One of the jacks in the bottom had a bent pivot point from shipping that I was able to carefully fix with vise-grips.

by:

Great product, easy install. Replaced the two on the back and added two to the front of the camper

by:

Great item worked perfect for my travel trailer.

by:

THANKS FOR THE GREAT SERVICE

by:

As ordered and very fast shipping!!

by:

Replaced my old style stabilizer with the scissor style. Received items quickly and they were easy to install and do a much better job of stabilization.

by:

Received in excellent condition just days after placing my order and are a perfect fit on my RV

by:

Good fit and finish,easy install

by:

The box was all torn up. Haven't installed yet. Look strong and stur.dy

by:

delivery time super Great !!! Jacks are built very good .

by:

Would have been a 5 star but UPS left the package in the rain and the product had broken through the box.

  • How to Determine if Scissor Jack Will Fit Camper
The Scissor Stabilizer Jack # TJSC-24, which also comes in a 2-pack # TJSCHD-24 and a 4-pack # TJSCHD-24-4, is a universal fit so you would need to double check our measurements to ensure they fit your travel trailer. When they are collapsed they measure 5" tall and then they can extend up to 23-3/4" tall to help stabilize your trailer. I am attaching a link to our returns policy that you can reference in regards to your question about a possible return.

  • Can Middle Rod in Scissor Jack be Replaced
The middle bolt that extends/retracts scissor jacks is unfortunately non-replaceable so you'll have to replace the jack(s) entirely. This is because if that bolt needs replacing then more times than not the whole jack is messed up and it's safer to replace the whole thing. Here are our etrailer-branded jacks in different quantities: Single - # TJSC-24 Pair - # TJSCHD-24 Set of 4 - # TJSCHD-24-4 These jacks are rated for 5,000 lbs and have a 18-3/4" lift. • Do Scissor Stabilizer Jacks Have to Attach to RV Frame to Function
Without bolting or welding down the scissor jacks # TJSCHD-24-4 they'd still do a decent job stabilizing the camper but considering how much more convenient they are when installed on the trailer I'd recommend you go that route. Would also prevent the jacks from slipping possibly.

  • Recommended Stabilizer Jacks for Award Trailer
Depending on the overall GVWR of the trailer and clearance from the ground, I recommend using something like the Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle - 18-3/4" Lift - 10,000 lbs - Qty 4 # TJSCHD-24-4, which are designed for trailers with a GVWR of 10000-lbs. These are a great, pocketbook friendly solution to replace or add stabilizer jacks for your trailer and have 18-3/4" of travel when fully extended. I've linked a review video of these for you to check out, but if your trailer needs longer...

  • How to Install the Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle Part # TJSCHD-24-4
The portion of the Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle part # TJSCHD-24-4 that has the two rectangular tabs will need to be attached directly to the frame rail. The jacks cannot be installed the other way around. Once installed the hex head on the adjustment screw should face outward away from the trailer. These jack have a combined 10,000 lb weight capacity and offer up to 18-3/4" of lift.

  • Can Scissor Stabilizer Jacks # TJSCHD-24-4 Be Welded in Place?
The Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle # TJSCHD-24-4 can absolutely be welded on versus bolted on if you prefer. The frame of your fiberglass travel trailer will still be steel, so you can mount it to the frame in either manner. Welding will absolutely be a stronger hold, but many people choose to use hardware which is also an option.

  • Replacement Scissor Jacks Needed for Forest River Wolf Pup

  • Are etrailer Scissor Stabilizer Jacks A Compatible Replacement For J-2500 Scissor Stabilizer Jacks
I wasn't able to find the bolt pattern for your J-2500 stabilizer jacks, but the great thing about scissor jacks is that if the bolt patterns don't match up you can just unbolt the mounting brackets from the jacks and swap them over to the new jacks to avoid drilling new holes in the frame. The etrailer Scissor Stabilizer Jacks # TJSCHD-24-4 have a combined capacity of 10,000lbs, but this style of jack is only meant to stabilize so you'll only want to lower them until they touch the ground....

  • Can Scissor Jacks Be Added To A 2017 Forest River Sunseeker 3100SS Class C Motorhome
The Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle # TJSCHD-24-4 you referenced are a universal fit so you would be able to use them on your 2017 Forest River Sunseeker 3100SS. It's best to install these in each corner to help maximize their usefulness, but there tends to be quite a bit going on under a motorhome so you may have to play around until you find the best position for them that isn't going to allow them to be hit whenever you're driving around.
