Husky HB4500 Electric Jack Starts Going Down As Soon As Power Switch Is Released

Question:
I have a husky hb4500 power jack. I can run the switch to lift my camper but when I get to the point of lifting the backend of truck up to remove my equilizer bars from the camper and I release the power switch the jack starts going back down on its own so I have to keep hitting the up switch. Any idea why its doing this? Battery is fully charged.

Hello Garry, thanks for reaching out. It sounds like something in internally wrong with your jack. Could be a problem with the screw mechanism or with the motor. That husky hb4500 jack is an older model that is no longer available, so there are no replacement parts. The only fix I can offer would be a whole new jack. For that I recommend the following:
