Is this a good replacement for the electric tongue jack on my 2018 Independence Casita travel trailer?

It sure is Judson. The Electric Jack w/ Footplate item # EJ-3520-BBX would be a great addition to your 2018 Independence Casita travel trailer. It's got a 3,500 lbs capacity and a total lift of 25-1/8" including the drop leg. This jack fits a standard A-frame trailer tongue.
I've linked an installation video below to help you get it set up.

I purchased this jack as a replacement for the original on my 2012 Rockwood 2109s. It was straight forward to install and better than the factory jack. It has worked flawlessly on many trips.

I bought this one for my 26’ north woods camper. It works great. The only issue (very minor) that I ran into, is that the hot wire wasn’t quite long enough to reach my battery. I just spliced an extra piece in.

So far it has been great. It was easy to install and fit my 20' Coleman Lantern RV perfectly. I would definitely recommend it.

It is a good Jack. The only problems I ran into is inadvertently turning on the work light during the day and not noticing it’s on. I ran it to a switch on the inside of trailer to turn power off to Jack when not using so if I do forget it, it’s not going to drain battery.
