The product seems to be of excellent quality. I was a little surprised at how slow it raises and lowers, but I haven't read the instructions yet, so maybe that can be adjusted. Who am I kidding, I won't read the instructions! 664577

I love my new electric trailer jack ! It has a 7 pin RV plug which makes it so convenient to power. There are lights on both sides to shine onto the hitch after dark. There is a bubble level on top to know when the camper is at least level enough to start setting up. It all works great ! 636809

Love this jack. However there was an issue connecting to my 2017 F250 SuperDuty. There is no constant 12v power to the plug to operate the Jack. I did the whole internet search and reading and dont listen to all the advice about fuses and relays. There are no fuses and or relays that are necessary. Just pull apart the 7way connector to the jack and remove the wire from 1oclock and replace to the 11oclock position and it will work fine. Before you start to look for fuses and relays just know that there is no relay connections for slot 37. 666903

This jack is awesome! I have service connected disabilities that affect my arms and this is a lifesaver. It's as easy to install as a regular crank jack, very heavy, and I love the 7-pin plug for power. I installed it on our 3 horse v-nose trailer. I can lift the trailer and pick up the rear end of my 1/2 ton truck with ease. 579053

This jack works great so far! (Day 1) Except for one minor detail, everything works as described. I have a 2014 Ford F-150 with a factory hitch & 7pin plug. My fuse box did not have the 30A fuse & relay needed to power the jack. Found the exact fuse & relay needed in my glove box. Apparently Ford doesn't install them when installing the hitch & 7pin plug. Not all trailers need this power function. Mostly the fuse & relay are used to charge the battery on a travel trailer via the 7pin plug. I'm pulling a cargo trailer with no battery to charge. Once I installed the relay in slot #9 & the 30A fuse in slot #21 in the fuse box under the hood, the jack worked as described. I do wish the cable was a rubber jacketed cable instead of a split corrugated tubing. I might change that one day. Also wish the manual crank handle was slightly shorter. I have a V-nose trailer, and the manual crank handle hits the V-nose, not allowing for a complete 360 turn. The level on top is nice, but needs to twist off like some models I've seen. This model requires you to have a Phillips screwdriver to remove the level to get to the manual crank, and then try to keep up with the tiny screws. These are just some things I would change to make this product better. Overall, I'm satisfied. Time will tell how long my satisfaction lasts. 654194

A great product that has helped me quite a bit with my camper. It has severely cut down the time needed to jack up or down my camper. It hasn't failed on me as of yet so I am very much enjoying it!! 828761

I have had two of these jacks for over a year on construction trailers. They have been flawless. I would buy again because of their dependably. If I were to critique anything it would be that they are slow to move up and down. I have used three other brands and although they were faster, they did not last. I would buy again. I give them 4.5 stars but that was not an option, and that’s because of speed only. 816025

This product has worked flawlessly since I bought and installed it. It is not the fastest lift but gets the job done everytime. Glad I went with the plug in to vehicle type. 807891

I was not pleased with the jack I received. I used it a couple times last year and it worked intermittently. Had it repaired locally this year an now after one use it quit again. I going to have it repaired again, bit it will be the last time. Perhaps I received a bad one. 807541

This Jack works great, the only issue I have is the cable (if not secured) will fall on the ground. I bought a cable holder to alleviate the issue. 805967

Great jack. Hooked up to my enclosed snowmobile trailer, with 2 sleds inside. Lifted the tongue with no problem. I thought it would be slow but it raised right up. Just think i will never have to crank up the trailer again 764585

Pretty cool. Took a whole 10 minutes to install. Very excited about not having to crank that darn Jack anymore. It was getting to where I couldn’t even crank it with no weight on it. I recommend getting the model with the pigtail on it so you can simply plug it in to your truck when needed and no wiring necessary. Awesome I hope it lasts. I always feel funny leaving a review for something I just took out of the box. Looks sounds and feels pretty sturdy though and the price was right. Looks pretty weatherproof too. 750133

Jack still works fine 749768

Use it on my enclosed car trailer to load and unload cars with low clearance, Jack works 100% satisfied, I use separate battery that I keep charged in trailer 746631

Good product. Installed with 3 bolts and works great off the trucks power. Tailgate also has no problem with being used hooked up to the enclosed trailer. 674941

  • Mounting Hardware Suggestion for Buyers Products Powered A-Frame Jack # 3370093500
You can use three 3/8-16 grade 5 bolts to install the Buyers Products 12-Volt Electric Jack # 3370093500 or any other style A-frame jack; though we do not carry the hardware it is available at any hardware store. I attached an install video for this jack for you to check out as well. The length you'd need would be based on your trailer's mounting flange thickness. I attached a review video for this jack for you to check out as well.

  • Troubleshooting No Power to Buyers 12V Electric Jack When Plugged Into Ram 7-Way
The Buyers Products 12V Electric Jack # 3370093500 referenced in your question features a pre-wired harness that is designed to plug right into the 7-Way on a tow vehicle. If the jack isn't powered at all when plugged into the 7-Way on your Ram then it's likely the 12V circuit on the connector is not active. You can use a circuit tester like # 40376 to test the pin at the 1 o'clock position at the front of the 7-Way to make sure you are getting power there. If not you may have a blown...

  • Can 7-Way of Electric Trailer Jack be Cut Off and the Wiring Run to Trailer Battery
If your electric trailer jack has a 7-Way built-into it for power, like the Buyers Products # 3370093500, then it is completely acceptable for you to cut off the 7-Way and run the power to the positive terminal on your 12V battery. Instead of running your ground to the negative terminal on your battery though I highly recommend grounding it to the frame on your trailer. This will be a much better ground option that running it to the battery. You do want to check and make sure that your...

If you are wanting to draw power off of the battery on your travel trailer for your Buyers Products 12-Volt Electric Jack # 3370093500 then you need to install a vehicle-side 7-Way connector like the Hopkins # HM48480 on your trailer and run some wiring. The wiring you need to run is for the power and ground functions. Simply run some 10 Gauge Wire # 10-2-1 from the power and ground pins on your 7-Way (see attached photo) and the connect the power wire to your positive battery post (with...

  • Mounting Hole Spacing for Buyers Products 12 Volt Electric Jack # 3370093500
A-frame trailer jacks including # 3370093500 use an industry standard mounting hole pattern (with very few exceptions). They are approximately 3 inches on center. Some jacks have slotted mounting holes which is why the measurements are approximate (it could be a little more or a little less than 3 inches on center).

  • Can Electric A-Frame Jack be Powered by Tow Vehicle Battery
You can definitely use the 7-Way on your tow vehicle to power an electric A-Frame jack. We actually carry the Buyers Products 12-Volt Electric Jack # 3370093500 which comes with a 7-Way connector installed so you can do just this very thing without having to splice into the 7-Way on your trailer. We typically say to use a trailer battery just to help prevent draining the start battery in your vehicle to the point where it won't start and you get stranded. As long as you are mindful...

  • Wiring Electric Jack to Plug Into 7-Way on Tow Vehicle
Although wiring an electric jack like the etrailer.com # EJ-3520-BBX you referenced to a dedicated battery on the trailer is the preferred solution for ensuring you get the needed power, you can indeed wire it to a 7-Way plug like # A7WCB for it to be connected to the 7-Way on your truck when needed. • Can a Breakaway Battery be Used to Power an Electric A-Frame Trailer Jack
If your breakaway system is powered by its own battery then it is likely a 5 amp hour battery which is not high enough to power an electric trailer jack, such as # BD500199, since they can draw about 30 amps under load. The other issue is that a breakaway system needs its own dedicated battery and should not be shared by other 12 volt accessories. You can use the 12V circuit on your 7-Way to power the Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX but it is usually best to use a separate 12V battery that is stored on your trailer. Reason being that sometimes the trailer jack needs more power than the 12V wire from your tow vehicle can deliver. • Troubleshooting Electric Trailer Jack with 7-Way Plug That Does Not Function Consistently
An electric A-frame tongue jack like # EJ-3527-BBX or # 3370093500 that has a pre-wired 7-way plug will rely on the ground and +12V contacts within that plug to deliver operating power. Jacks may not function with less than 12 volts. Those contacts are located, respectively, at the 5:00 and 11:00 positions on the plug as you look at it. Please refer to the linked photo. You might try an aerosol electrical contact cleaner like Caig De-Oxit to see if that restores reliable operation. I...

  • Electric Trailer Jack Recommendations for a 2014 Coleman 262BH Camper
Based on the size of your 2014 Coleman 262BH camper, I recommend going with a jack rated for 3,500 lbs. This is the most common size electric jack out there, so the good news is you have quite a few options. Keep in mind, the jack does not have to be rated for the weight of your trailer because it is only lifting the tongue weight of your trailer, but I will admit that jack weight capacities really don't make much sense for trailer tongue weights or gross vehicle weights.
