Hey there haulers. Today, we're going to be taking a look at Master Lock's pivot lock hitch pin for two-inch hitches. It's available in chrome or stainless like you see here. When working with accessories for your two-inch hitch, one thing you're always going to need is a pin and clip. Now Master Lock has made this much simpler with this new design. Rather than having to fumble around and find your clip, which as always seems to be missing, or once you get it through there, having to line up with a small pinhole to get it in place, Master Lock has incorporated the clip design into their pin here so that it couldn't be simpler.Simply line up your accessory hole with your hitch hole.
And once you get this pushed through, you can pull out on the tab and drop it down into place and now it's not going anywhere. It's effectively a built in clip, so you don't have to worry about ever losing it. Spring loaded design makes it easy to rotate down into place. You can rotate it either up or down, depending on any clearance issues you may have. And when you're ready to remove your accessory, it's just as easy.
Lift up into position and slide out. And then you can see here that it is a 5/8 diameter hitch pin so it's going to work great with your Class III and Class IV accessories. It's got three inch usable span here, so it's going to fit all of those hitches as well. We've got our ball mount here today, but it's also going to work out great for your bike racks, cargo carriers, or anything else that you can throw at your two-inch hitch. And that completes our look at Master Lock's pivot lock pin for two inch hitches..

Got tired of scraped knuckles with the standard pin-and-clip. Quality is awesome and function is superb.
What a dandy little pin. I recently bought a cargo hitch carrier from etrailer.com and stretching over the carrier to put the little hairpin clip into the hitch pin was causing me some grief. I found this pin and ordered it in stainless and chrome. I can engage it one-handed without having to crawl around under the bumper to find the hairpin clip, which I'm prone to do. Both of these are really high quality pins and the folks at etrailer.com are really hands-on kinda helpful. I'd have bought from them even if they weren't the cheapest online...but they were anyway.
Still using this hitch pin and it still works great. Very nice that there's no separate pin to drop or lose.
Came fast and fit was perfect. TY

Works great, use it every day. No more skinned knuckles pull out the Codder pin.
The staff at etrailer made my buying experience nothing short unforgettable...they are prompt on receiving your order and processing it in a timely fashion. In my case I was confused on what it was I exactly needed; they emailed me a number of options that would accommodate my needs with budget and price range in mind. This is the second time I have purchased from etrailer and they made me feel like family; they can count on me being a long term customer from here on out! And last but not least the product speaks for itself. Towing a trailer from state to state can make you a sceptic of your equipments endurance and toughness; I know my hitch and components are one less thing I need to worry about...
Speeds up and simplifies attaching the ball to the hitch. No pins to lose and its tight when locked. Highly recommended if you change hitch balls often or switch between a ball and a bike rack frequently.
Work well, heavy duty.
The absolute best part of this product is the installation video. It is the difference between feeling like you can do it yourself versus needing to take it to a shop.
There are a number of tricky installation aspects that are no longer tricky when you learn about them in advance by watching the video, which is very thorough.
In the end, my hitch turned out great, and it works very well for my intended purpose (bike rack). It's awesome to have it hidden behind my license plate because I think exposed receiver hitches hanging low on cars (especially a Volt) look like a compromise compared to how they look on an SUV.
Thanks for making a great product along with a great video.
I use this pin when I pull my boat or motorcycle trailer, and put it away until needed. I use a regular hitch pin for my bump step, or pulling hitch.
It makes things a lot easier, not fighting the rusted pin.
This is a great design. Sure beats trying to get the hairpin cotter pin in/out/lined up for the old one I lost!

Im still enjoying everything purchased. Nothing but positive reviews for all.
If you don't need a locking pin this is the best option in my opinion. Quick, easy and corrosion free.

Still holding up great with no corrosion!
Great hitch pin and doesn't rust being stainless. Easy to use and I really like the pivot locking feature. I have two since they work so well and that way I don't have to keep finding which vehicle I last used them on! I occasionally spray some lubricant on the pivot head so the grooves and functioning of the pivot head doesn't clog up from dirt, mud and snow.

Still working great! One of my better purchases.
These pins are great! I love to use them when I want to put in my receiver for something quick. Nothing to loose. Everything is in one place. Stainless Steel, too! What more could you ask for? I have several of these around to use whenever I need one. Only use a locking pin on long hauls where I can't keep an eye out for theft, otherwise I would use this pin 100%.

I still love using these pins!!! They are a great product. I have had no issues with them and will continue to use and buy them, until I have an issue to change my mind. A great product!!!
I like these much better that the clip style pins that the clip can fall out as it ages and looses its tension.
HOWEVER I now have a 3" receiver on my Super Duty truck that this is to short for. Master makes a Locking pin that is long enough so that is what I'm using for now. Would be nice to have this type for normal use to prevent using key so often.

1 year latter Im only using this in my front Hitch that is a 2 receiver for winch and canoe tower rack. Does not fit my rear 3 receiver on Super Duty truck. Still waiting for Master to make a longer pin.

Just received the pin and hitch. I like the pin being 1 piece. I don't have fight the retaining clip like I used to do, especially when it got old. I also don't have to worry about losing the clip. The piece seems very well made with good tolerances and easy to use.
Perfect love this item no keeper pins to deal with
The part was exactly what we needed. However, the shipping left much to be desired. The part went from Wentzville, MO to St. Louis, MO to Omaha, NE, then back to St. Louis, MO and finally to us. Possibly if it had been shipped out sooner, this may not have happened. Why wait 5 days to ship a simple part 1 1/2 hours away?
service is good. Tech support is excellent and seem to always have what you need.
Went all the way downtown St.Louis when I'm 2 miles away ??
Shouldn't have taken so long to arrive.
Why aren't all hitch pins like this? No tiny clip to spring off and hide halfway under your vehicle
Best thing since sliced bread ! NO MORE LOST HITCH PINS.
The hitch pins are made of stainless steel and look pretty durable. The end firmly locks when you position it straight to remove pin or either up or down to secure receiver. Don't have to worry about losing the clip or not being able to find it. It's attached.
Stainless pin holds out well in Wisconsin weather.
There Great !!! They don't rust & No pin lose or pull out !!
