Need a long ball mount for auto tail gate clearance. will Brophy BH20 be the right choice. only need 2 inch drop. please advise.

Yep, you have it right, the longest ball mount is indeed the Brophy you mentioned, which is 13-1/4 inches long:
- Brophy Ball Mount for 2" Hitch - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop # BH20
This will give you the added length you need, and has a 10,000 lb capacity. To secure the ball mount to your 2" hitch you would need either Pin & Clip # ML1465DAT or Hitch Lock # e98880.
