What's up everybody. It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna checking out this Gen-Y pin and clip. It's gonna go with your Gen-Y ball mount setup like we have here. We got our one at the drop position. We got the ball mount accessory in here.
And this is what's gonna go to attach it. We got one in the hitch too. Let's check 'em out. You got these big sturdy pins. Slide right in really easy.
The clips are a little different. You see how it's on the side. It's not like a normal clip where you have to go like that. So you can go onto the side. Goes on a little bit easier than those.
And then it just turns around. And now it's on there. So I like how easy that is to throw on there or even to take off. Just turn it, twist it, pull it out. Super easy.
I like it better than a normal clips that they have with those pins. Now we have one up here in the hitch too. You might wanna get a locking hitch pin if you wanna leave this on there all the time. But if it's only on their temporarily while you're using it, it's gonna work great for either one of these. The pin has a 3 1/2 inch span. It's also got a 5/8 of an inch diameter. It's gonna work with your 2 inch or 2 1/2 inch hitch setups. It's really sturdy replacement pin. I like 'em. You even got the grip here on the side, so it's not just that awkward little handle you have to grab sometimes. It's easy to pull on this, get out there, or throw it back in like we just did. Now, if you want a locking version, there are those online too. Go ahead and check out on our website for those. Other than that though, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out. Hope this helped..
