I will go down the list of products that you mentioned in terms of their compatibility with each other.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13303 referenced in your question is a Class III trailer hitch with a 2 inch receiver opening. It is confirmed to fit your 2016 BMW X1 and will work very well.

The Curt Euro Style Drawbar # C45572 that you also referenced is a Class II ball mount designed for 1-1/4 inch receivers. This will not be compatible with the 2 inch receiver on the above Curt Trailer Hitch. For a ball mount with a similar rise to this model, I recommend instead looking at the Curt Ball Mount for 2 Inch Hitches # C45311. This will be compatible with the Curt hitch and features a 2-3/4 inch rise. You can add a 2 inch hitch ball with part # A-90. Next, the etrailer.com Rubber Hitch Cover # 22282 you mentioned is designed for 2 inch hitch receivers and will work perfectly. This will do a nice job of protecting the receiver from dirt and debris.
