Question:
Hello, I have a 2014 Honda Ridgeline Sport and would like to add front winch capability. It appears that the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver, part #33328, will work on the front of my RL. Can you tell me if the Curt Winch Mount #C31010 will work on a front receiver hitch for my application? Also, will the plastic underneath need to be removed? Thank you

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Curt winch mount plate does fit the Curt front mounted hitch for your 2014 Honda Ridgeline so you can use the two parts together, which are the following:
- Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 33328
- Curt Trailer Hitch Electric Winch Mount Plate # C31010
As for the plastic on your Ridgeline it does need to be temporarily removed, yes. The only other thing I wanted to add is that in order to mount the winch plate in the hitch you'll just need the Hitch Pin and Clip # ML1465DAT.
