Hello, I wanted to inquire about options for my Thule T2 PRO XTR Bike rack 1.25. I have a vehicle with a 2 hitch but my Thule bike rack is for a 1.25. What adapter options do you guys have available? I found an adapter sleeve online but I am not sure if it will work with my bike rack. TH8523185001

Hey Blake,
So there are a couple options here, but the adapter you mentioned isn't a fit and won't work with the Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" Hitches # TH23JV.
One option is to switch the entire stinger assembly for the T2 Pro XTR to the one for a 2" hitch, which is the Replacement Lower Assembly and 2" Stinger for Thule T2 Pro XTR 2-Bike Rack # TH37MY. However, that's not exactly cheap, but I did want to mention it just to cover all the options. What I recommend instead is just an adapter you put in your 2" hitch which allows you to use 1-1/4" accessories:
- Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver # HT02
This has a 300 lb weight capacity so you'll still be able to use the full capacity of your T2 bike rack, so it's definitely the option I'd go with. The only thing you'd need with it is a pin and clip or lock to secure it to your hitch, the Hitch Pin # ML1465DAT or Hitch Lock # e98880.
