  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2017 Toyota Highlander
For your 2017 Toyota Highlander the best hitch option is the Draw Tite # DT65MR as it has the best capacity and has a great price. Hitch installs are pretty basic for qualified mechanics. The best advice I can give would be to find a local mechanic to you with a good reputation and let them install it. I attached an install video as well for you to check out to see if you might be able to tackle it yourself.

  • Extra Long Ball Mount Approximately 14 Inches From Center of Hitch Pin to Center of Ball Hole
We offer an Extra Long Ball Mount, # D-28, which has a 4 inch rise and a 6 inch drop. The distance from the center of the pin hole to the center of the ball hole is 14-1/4 inches. In order to maintain the structural integrity of the ball mount, making modifications like drilling a new hole is strongly discouraged and all warranties would be void.

  • Towing Bike Rack Availability with 5 Drop Ball Mount for Towing Vintage Trailer
We do have ball mounts with a 5" drop that you can use with the Swagman Traveler XCS # S64664, but none of our towing bike racks come with a ball mount that has a 5" drop (none of them actually come with a ball mount as the pictures are for demonstration purposes). If you would like to stick with the XCS that you referenced then I recommend using the etrailer.com Ball Mount Kit # 989900 for 2" trailer hitches. This comes with a 2 different ball mounts, one of which has a 4" drop (which...

  • Ball Mount For 2002 Toyota Sienna With Curt Hitch C13511 For Towing U-Haul Trailer
I can help you out with the right ball mount and hitch ball for your 2002 Toyota Sienna so you can tow a U-Haul trailer with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13511. When we installed this hitch on a 2002 Sienna, we found that the distance from the ground to the top of the hitch receiver was 13-1/2 inches; since the bottom of the U-haul coupler is going to be 18-1/2 inches from the ground (that is what they mean when they say "optimal ball height" as that is how far off the ground the...

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for Non-Trailhawk 2018 Jeep Cherokee
The Draw-Tite # DT28MR will only fit Trailhawk models, as they have a different rear bumper. If you attempted to install it on a non-Trailhawk model the bumper would get in the way and prevent you from installing it. For a non-Trailhawk 2018 Jeep Cherokee, I'd recommend the Curt Class III hitch, part # C13172. When installed, the hitch will be mostly concealed behind the bumper with the only visible portions of the hitch being the square receiver tube and the safety chain hoops. The installation...

  • Which Stealth Hitch Option for Towing Small Boat With 2021 Hyundai Palisade
The # 391CONVPT5L Stealth Hitch you'd looked at doesn't include the receiver that's designed for towing, it's meant for hitch mounted accessories only, but there are options that would allow you to tow your boat. To tow your boat, there's a couple ways you can go to upgrade to make that possible. You could use the part # 391CONVPT5L hitch, add the # 391BMU5L ball mount and a # 63845 2-inch trailer ball and the # CU94FR 4-pole trailer wiring harness, which would provide you everything you...

  • Availability Of 12" Long Ball Mount With 1-1/4" Hitch Ball Hole And 3" Rise
I have an option that may work for you, but we do not have a ball mount with 4" rise, a 1-1/4" shank hole, and is 13" - 14-1/2" long. The closest option we have is the Draw-Tite Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 3" Rise, 4" Drop - 12" Long - 12,000 lbs # 4285 which is 12" long and has a 3" rise. For this option you would use 2-5/16" hitch ball # BWHB94003 which has a 3-1/4" long shank and has a 1" rise to get you back up to 4" total rise. If your new trailer is under 6000lbs I recommend is...

  • Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for 2016 Toyota RAV4
The Curt # C56217 T-Connector you'd looked at is a fit for the 2008-2019 Toyota Highlander, so it wouldn't fit your RAV4. For the 2016 RAV4, I'd recommend the Curt # C56350 which would install as shown in the linked video. I've also linked to the product description page which shows current pricing. In addtion to the hitch and wiring harness, you'll also need a ball mount, a hitch pin and the appropriately sized trailer ball. For a ball mount, I'd recommend the # D-28 and the # PC3 hitch...

  • Need a Ball Mount with 5-Inches of Rise or Drop to Match Trailer Coupler and Hitch Heights
We do offer a range of fixed 2-inch ball mounts with rise and drop. Since I do not know whether you need 5-inches of rise or drop I have included a link to our page for fixed 6000-lb-rated ball mounts. You can use the filters in the left-hand margin to select either rise or drop. It is fine for the hitch ball to be slightly higher than the coupler since the tongue weight of the trailer will cause some degree of squat when the trailer is hitched. Part # D-28 offers 4-inches of rise or...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch and Towing Accessories for 2012 Kia Sportage SX
We'd be happy to help! Although the Draw-Tite # 75717 would fit for you, we'd recommend going with a US made product like the etrailer brand Class III hitch, part # e84KR. The hitch is compatible with the SX trim. If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like # C56251. For a ball mount, use # D-28 and for a trailer ball, use # 40038 for a 2 inch ball or # C40002 for a 1-7/8 inch ball. I've linked to some install videos that you might find helpful.

  • Trailer Hitch and Wiring Harness Fit for 2020 Ford Escape Titanium Hybrid
As long as your Escape Titanium Hybrid isn't a PHEV model, we do have a hitch fit and a trailer wiring harness for you. I'd recommend the Curt Class III hitch, part # C23FR. For a wiring harness fit, I'd recommend the Tekonsha # TE54FR. For a ball mount, use # D-28 along with a # PC3 hitch pin. For a trailer ball, use # 40038 for a 1-7/8 inch or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball.

The install procedure shown in the linked video for the 2019 XC90 would be the same as the 2021. If you'll be using the hitch for towing purposes, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like # 118683, a ball mount like # D-28, a # PC3 hitch pin and a trailer ball like # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch. I've also linked to an install video for the trailer wiring harness.

When we installed the etrailer brand # e98853 Class III hitch on a 2011 Toyota Sienna, we found that the inside top edge of the receiver tube sat 12 inches above the ground. All three hitches have identical towing/tongue weight capacities of 3500/525 lbs. The Curt and the etrailer brand are nearly identical, with the only difference between the two is the finish, the etrailer brand hitch has a matte finish while the Curt hitch finish is glossy. • Best Wiring Harness for Towing With 2017 CR-V
Other than the higher amperage rating offered by the Tekonsha # 118741, there isn't much in the way of differences between it and the Curt # C56370. Both use solid state construction, the Curt uses the SMT which doesn't use through-holes in the circuit boards, while the Tekonsha uses a fully potted converter box which completely seals the circuit board from moisture and dirt intrusion which would make it more reliable in the long run, in my opinion. Both harnesses include the dust cap for...

If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like # TE54FR, a ball mount like # D-28 along with a # PC3 hitch pin and a trailer ball like # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball.

  • Concealed Trailer Hitch With Maximum Ground Clearance/Trailer Wiring Harness for 2020 Toyota Sienna
I'd be happy to help with that. Let's begin with the hitch. For the most concealment/ground clearance I'd recommend the Curt class III hitch, part # C13343. This hitch will be mostly concealed, with the crossbar being hidden behind the bumper/fascia. The only visible portion of the hitch will be the receiver tube and the safety chain loops. For a 4-pole trailer wiring harness, I'd recommend the Tekonsha # 118648. You'll also need a ball mount. The average leveled height of a trailer...
