Correct Replacement Bearings For 2009 Jayco Jay Feather Ex-Port 17C

Question:

Hello, I have a 2009 jayco travel trailer 17C ex-port. I need to get the bearings, races, and seals for it. What is the easiest low cost purchase for me to make? I want to make sure I get the right ones. I may also be looking for new brake shoes for the trailer as well. I have attached a picture of the Vin and information on the side of the trailer if necessary. Thanks

I would be happy to help!

Based on the information shown in the picture you provided your 2009 Jayco Jay Feather Ex-Port 17C will need bearing kit # BK2-100. This includes outer bearing # L68149, outer race # L68111, inner bearing # L44649, inner race # L44610, grease seal 10-19, and a new cotter pin.

If you determine you do need replacement brakes I recommend the # AKEBRK-35. These will be an exact replacement for your trailer. If your brake mounting hardware is in good shape it can be reused, or if it is pretty rough it can be replaced with # BRKH10B.

Since you mentioned just shoes that may be possible, but it will be dependent on the brand and model of brakes on your trailer. If you can send me a picture of the model number on your brake assemblies I would be happy to see if there is a replacement shoe option available for you.
