worked as needed

by:

Excellent service and product shipping is fast

by:

Good stuff. No issues.

by:

I use this in my grease gun and bearing packer. The grease holds up well.

by:

Will probably use my bearing packer and tubes from now on, less waste.

by:

There were no part numbers on my utility trailer's bearings and the part numbers on the hubs were not matching anything I could find online. I called eTrailer and spoke with Ashley. She did a great job at mapping over exactly what new part numbers I needed and had them shipped out; she was super helpful and patient. Everything fits and is working perfectly with my new ST175/80/D13 wheels and tires on my 5x8 2000 Eagle Utility Trailer. Prices are good and service was excellent. If eTrailer should improve on anything it should be the packaging. One of the new hub dust covers was bent/dented but still usable. Still worth a 5 star rating!

Been towing that little trailer around for over a year with heavy loads and the parts I ordered/installed are holding up perfecty. Thanks again.

by:

It's greasy, it's sticky, it's affordable and does a great job. Just right for my travel trailer preventative annual maintenance.

by:

Etrailer has always come through. Excellent place to shop for your trailer needs!!

very high quality grease.is working great.

by:

Works great put over 7,000 miles on trailer no problems, about to repack bearings with the remaining grease.

by:

It seems to be high-quality...

by:

I'm giving this grease a high rating mainly because it is being sold/recommended by etrailer. I think the only truly valid evaluation of any lubricant would be in strictly controlled laboratory conditions, such as electron microscope examination of wear patterns on bearing surfaces, changes in axial and lateral tolerances after a given number of revolutions or elapsed time parameters, etc. Otherwise, improper installation protocols, like over- or under tightening of axle nuts, overloading of the bearings, worn and leaky seals, etc. could be the true causes of bearing failures. All I can report is that there was no evidence of viscosity inconsistency or difficulty in application.

by:

Needed some fresh grease to install new wheel hub bearings. This did the trick.

by:

Worked great

by:

Good stuff

by:

Order arrived very quickly. Placed on Friday, arrived on Tuesday from Mo to Pa. Items were packed well and arrived in good condition. Upon initial inspection all items appear of good quality. Ordered tires, brakes with backing plates, hubs ,seals and grease. Haven't installed any items yet, but I am sure I will have no issues. Free shipping is a plus. Additionally unlike other free shipping offers that are out on the back burner for a week, order was processed and shipped promptly. I have recommended etrailer to friends and would highly recommend them to anyone.

by:

I was very happy with the bearing order. It was delivered at my shop about 1:00 PM the next day. The price was good and the PR was exemplary. I wish you could have cross referenced my bearing numbers to be able to identify the brake drum/hub. My neighborhood provider cross-referenced it within 15 seconds and sold me a pair of drums. He identified my axles providing me with the brand name and capacity. This may be a service you may want to research about providing your customers. In prior orders, you have provided great service and immediately corrected an error. I really appreciated that dependability. Thanks.

by:

Good service and shipped quickly.
Easy
product to use. I just don't like the hand packing.
Hard to take a picture when your all greased up

Thanks for the great feedback, have fun packing the bearings.

Not even 2 years after install all rusty. Electric brake pin broke due to rust.
Impossible To remove 4 bolt holding connector due To rust. I do not recommend

by:

Grease can arrived in great condition. Applied to bearings well.
etrailer answered questions about which grease to purchase for
my trailer. Thank You etrailer.

by:

Seems to be good grease. The important thing for me personally was that the support people at Etrailer educated me to learnt that there is a difference between bearing grease and HIGH Temperature bearing grease. They made sure I had the right product for repacking the bearing on my car trailer!!!

by:

This wheel bearing grease worked fine for my Airstream trailer wheels.

by:

The L11380 Lubrimatic wheel bearing grease is a quality product, I have used for a long time.

by:

Service was great. Shipping, however, the can of grease and grease seals were thrown in loose with the four brake backing plates. The can of grease ( still usable) and seal damaged.

  • Replacement Bearings & Grease Seal Kit For 7,000 lb & 8,000 lb Lippert Axle
We have the exact kit you need to replace your bearings, races, and grease seal on your Lippert 7,000 lb axle. I verified directly with Lippert for you that the correct kit is the following: - Bearing Kit # BK3-200 This kit is for one hub, so if you need to replace the bearings and seals on multiple hubs, just be sure to order the correct quantity. And then for grease I recommend the LubriMatic Grease # L11380 with Bearing Packer # ALL647646.

  • What Electric Brakes and Grease Seals do I Need for My 2022 Discovery Rover ET ?
Hello Sean, Thanks so much for getting that picture to me. It is most helpful. Your axles are rated for 3,500 pounds, so you will want our etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes - Self-Adjusting - 10" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies - 3.5K # AKEBRK-35-SA (or the TruRyde you were looking at # TRU36FR ). These are self adjusting brakes, so one less maintenance thing you have to worry about. If you are looking to repack your bearing when you swap your brakes out, make sure to grab some LubriMatic...

  • Replacement Hub For Trailer With 5 On 4-1/2" Studs And L44649 Inner Outer Bearings
Hey Harry! Thanks for asking. It sounds like you have a standard 2k axle with the inner and outer bearings both being L44649. When you say straight spindle, I assume you mean it's an idler hub where it doesn't have brakes on it; that is common for axles of this capacity. For that you can use the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2K Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 - Galvanized # AKIHUB-545-2-G-EZ-2K. This comes with the hub and studs that match your 5 on 4-1/2" pattern, the bearings you need,...

Hey Alen, thanks for reaching out and providing all of the info! Knowing that your trailer is equipped with Dexter 0404 8-219 Hubs is huge - this tells me that the exact bearing kit you need is part # BK3-200 which comes with the bearings, races, a seal, and cotter pin, so you'll need one bearing kit per hub. Be sure to take some supplies like paper towels or some cloth towels to completely clean off the spindle and clean out the hub because some greases don't mix well together, and I...

  • Grease Recommendation for Boat Trailer
Hey Anthony, for grease the RED LMX part # L11380 would be the best route to go. I don't have a way to look up what dust covers you'd need so you'd have to measure the bore of your hub where the cover goes and I can get you what you need from there. It probably is a grease hub. If it has a metal dust cover its grease but if it's plastic and clear it's oil.

Usually when you replace parts that get lubricated, you clean all of the existing grease first before adding any new grease, just in case there is a compatibility issue. Since you are using Dexter axles and replacing components with Dexter parts, the grease will be compatible. For wheel bearing grease, use # L11465, or # L11380. This is a polyurea-based grease that is compatible with most grease formulas of the same or similar chemical makeup. Take a look at our grease help article, linked...

  • Who Makes The Best Quality Trailer Bearings?
Hi Calvin! All of the pre-greased hubs/drums, like the Terran Industries Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 3.5K Axles - 10" Diameter - 5 on 4-1/2 # TX68VJ, come with bearings made overseas and are all basically the same quality. At least that I have seen. That said, As long as you do regular maintenance, they should last a good long time. Hi Wendell, We do offer compatible replacement hub/rotors for your Dexter 008-435-05 but they unfortunately do not come pre-greased. I recommend picking up the # K08-435-05 as well as bearings # L68149 and # L44649, and grease seal # RG06-050 to pre-pack the hub yourself with some lube # L11380 before the trip. • Where to Lubricate Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brakes
You have to be careful if you lubricate electric trailer brakes such as # 23-468. You cannot get any grease on the pads or on the inside of the drum because that will have a negative impact on brake performance. The magnet arm and the shoes pivot at a single point each. You can use just some wheel bearing grease such as # L11380 at those locations. Ideally you would completely wipe away any grease prior to adding new grease. It will not take much and that tub of grease, listed above, should...

  • Potential Causes for Trailer Hub to Heat Up
So long as a hub uses the correct bearings that match the dimensions of the spindle that is on the axle there is no worry about using two different brands of products, such as a Dexter hub on a Lippert axle.
