Hey Harry! Thanks for asking.

It sounds like you have a standard 2k axle with the inner and outer bearings both being L44649. When you say straight spindle, I assume you mean it's an idler hub where it doesn't have brakes on it; that is common for axles of this capacity. For that you can use the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2K Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 - Galvanized # AKIHUB-545-2-G-EZ-2K.

This comes with the hub and studs that match your 5 on 4-1/2" pattern, the bearings you need, grease seal, lug nuts etc. You won't need anything else aside from grease if you don't have that already: # L11380.

What kind of trailer is this? Is it a boat trailer? If so, this hub is galvanized which is good for that.

Hello Andrew: Yes, mine is an idler hub. I had looked at the hub you recommended, but in the "Features to know about" section it notes: "This hub measures 4-1/8" from the outside of the inner bearing to the outside of the outer bearing." However, that distance on my hub is 3-1/2" (with an overall length of 4-1/4"), which means that hub would be too long for my spindle. I have also looked at similar hubs, but none of them provide that critical information. Thank you, Harry van den Berg

@HarryB Hey Harry, sorry for not picking up on the length difference earlier. You'd need to cut the old spindle off and weld on a common one, or get a new axle. You may be able to find the correct hub for that spindle somewhere else online or maybe second hand if need be, but unfortunately it's not common enough for us to carry it.
