Do you know what type of bearing grease a 2024 Forest River Grey Wolf 26DBH travel trailer uses? It’s built on a HC-15 chassis.

Hey Stephen,

There unfortunately isn't a guide to tell us what grease was used for your trailer's bearings, but it's most just a high temp red bearing grease like part # L11380.

Recommended high-temp red grease worked great in our 2024 Grey Wolf. Anyone buying a new travel trailer should check your bearings after a few hundred miles. I was amazed at how little grease there was before I refilled the hubs. Make sure you follow manufacturer recommendations for adding grease ( for the Grey Wolf raising the wheel and spinning it while filling) , so you don’t damage the seals. Thanks!

@StephenD Thanks for sharing, Stephen. You make a good point about checking the hubs on a new trailer. Its pretty common for factory bearing jobs to be slightly sub par - they will do anything to cut costs these days. It makes sense that turning the wheel while adding grease would help things distribute more evenly. Thanks for the tip!
