Question:
I have a 2022 Keystone Passport 219BH. It has dual axels. It’s time for bearings maintenance and someone suggested I upgrade my shackes and add equalizer at the same time. I was looking at the morryde or lippert armor kits. Is there a kit that comes with shackles and equalizer together? What size of shackles do I need? And are there still never fail bushings?

Hello Peter,
Happy to get the right parts for you. Upgrading your suspension parts is always a great idea for a smoother ride.
I do not have a database that supplies me with what is put on what camper (would be pretty sweet if there were such a list). Based on my research, I see that the 2022 Keystone Passport 219BH is equipped with (2) 3,500-pound axles. Since I don't have a list, I would double-check your axle tags to confirm.
- Bearing kit (1 per wheel): Hub Bearing Kit for Lippert, Dexter, and AL-KO Axles - 3,500 lb with #84 Spindle # BK2-100
- Bearing grease: LubriMatic Prime Guard High Temperature Wheel Bearing Grease - Red - 16-oz Can # L11380
- Shackle kit: You will need to measure your current shackle straps from center hole to center hole. They will be either 2 1/4" or 3 1/8". For 2 1/4": # MR46ZR, For 3 1/8": # MR76ZR
Equalizers: MORryde Rubber Equalizers for Tandem Axle Trailers - 33" Wheelbase - 8K # MR87ZR I attached an image of the measurements, you will want to compare them to what you have on there. The measurement probably won't be exact but should be very close. If you come up with something way different, please let me know what your measurement is.
I have set up many people with the upgraded MORryde Shackle Kit and the CRE3000, and the feedback is always great!
Got a big trip you are gearing things up for? If so, where are you headed?
