Question:
Hello, I am about to buy a tubeless axle system, and would like some assistance on fitment of the of the other necessary parts. I am going to get part number T99GR, and for brakes I want to get the kit part number AKEBRK-7-SA for hubs I found these. AKHD-655-6-EZ-K Will all these parts work together? do I need any other hardware for these parts? thank you.

Hello Andrew,
Time to make the switch to Axle-Less, you won't regret it! The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System - 4" Lift Spindle - Off-Road Tires - 5,200 lbs # T99GR will work with the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K, and the etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes # AKEBRK-7-SA. Our hubs do come pre-greased but it does not hurt to have some extra grease on hand so you might want to grab some LubriMatic Prime Guard High Temperature Wheel Bearing Grease # L11380. You might want to grab a couple of grease seals to have on hand as well, they are pretty much a one time use as they are notorious for breaking when you need to remove them the # GS-2250DL is the size you need.
The Timbren Axle-Less suspension system may need extra reinforcement for your trailer. If there is no crossmember where you are going to install the Timbrens, you may need to strengthen the frame. There are 3 ways you can do this:
- Add a crossmember to the trailer.
- Extend or reinforce the trailer frame.
- Use 2" x 3" steel tubing to link both Timbren suspension units through their built-in mounting holes.
Once you get things set up please make sure to tell me how you like the new set-up. What kind of trailer are you putting these on? Also, if you have any questions along the way about the installation, please feel free to reach out. You can comment but clicking the "REPLY TO KATE F".

Hey Andrew, how did the Timbren Axle-Less suspension and matching hub and brake setup work out on your trailer? Did you end up needing to reinforce the frame or add a crossmember for extra support? Your update could make it easier for others planning a similar build.
