  Hi Mark; we don't carry Mishimoto so I don't know a lot about them. I did a little research it looks like some people love them and say they are high quality while others have the opposite opinion. I didn't really see a lot of consistency saying they are the best or worst. Based on that I'm willing to bet that the performance of the Derale # D13403 is about the same as the Mishimoto equivalent so I would save myself the money and get the Derale.

• Where To Install Stacked-Plate Transmission Cooler
  The best location to install a transmission cooler is between the radiator and grille as this will allow the cooler to receive the most air flow. That said, you can still install the cooler between the radiator and engine and it will still work just fine but it won't be as efficient as when mounted in the other location as it will not receive as much airflow.
