The Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack is made for serious work and adventure. This rack’s uprights adjust from 19" to 30" above the bed rails, so you can fine-tune the height for whatever you’re carrying. Keep it low for easy loading or raise it up to clear taller cargo or line up with other racks. Etched measurements on the uprights make setup simple. Once it’s dialed in, the aluminum uprights stay solidly locked in place, giving your gear the support it needs wherever you go.
With T-slots running inside and outside each upright and across the top and bottom of the crossbars, you can mount accessories exactly where you want them. Add eye bolts, load stops, off-road lights, or a ladder roller without drilling. Tie-downs on the uprights and crossbar endcaps make it simple to secure kayaks, bikes, or construction materials. Rubber strips in the top channels help cut wind noise and keep cargo from slipping.
Built from sturdy aluminum with a black powder coat, the OverHaul HD is rustproof and tough enough for years of use in any weather. BedGrip clamps grab the bed rails securely, and the QuickChange system lets you remove or reinstall the rack in minutes—no drilling required. The rack weighs 50 lbs total, so it’s strong without being a hassle to move.

Works seamlessly with the retrax rollup cover and not too hard to install. Adjusting the height takes a little bit of work but that is only done on a very limited basis. Allows me to carry my kayaks, a cargo box if I need extra space or paddles & fishing rods so they don't get damaged by closing the tailgate on them.
The rack is great. Simple to install, extremely sturdy & very well designed. I drove it to Cars & Coffee yesterday & someone asked me what I needed to haul or if I merely installed them "because they look cool."

I would suggest selling the rack specific for Retrax bed cover. The amount of hardware left over when you add the adapter kit to the standard rack seems really excessive. Rather than be $169 add, it should be a deduct of at least that much.

The Yakima OverHaul HD appears to be very well made and is very sturdy.
Installation was relatively straight forward. The racks fit well on my 2024 Ford Maverick. I look forward to years of use.
So far I have only been able to start the set up on my Tundra and have not actually loaded anything on the rack yet (still in between seasons in northern Maine). I will say everything arrived in a timely manner and the adapter kit for the tundra utility track fits well…solid anchor for the rack system. Excited to start using it with both large canoes(120 lbs each) and 4 bike racks when not using canoes. I am so far impressed with e-trailer as well. They honored a price from 4 months ago when I actually put the rack in my shopping cart. Because of indecision, I didn’t actually order the item until end of March and noticed the price has gone up. E-trailer sold the item for the earlier price…integrity. I will buy products from them again and tell others about my experience.

With this rack, you get what you pay for. It’s expensive and it’s worth it. Well built, quality paint, and once it on your truck, it’s as solid as a brick [house]. Best looking rack out there in my opinion.
Strong and sturdy rack for the bed of a Silverado 3500HD. Tent camper is securely attached for trips.
Also bought the tonneau cover attachment. Great product, in stock, quick delivery, and the towers and bars came as one unit. Very easy and it beats searching multiple other sites trying to piece together what you need!
Just got this and installed it this past week. The instructions on the etrailer site were good, but the installation was a bit glitchier than the impression from the written instructions and videos. Once on... really solid! Hopefully these things will live up to their reputation.
I ordered this rack for a roof top tent coming soon. Made my decision based on the customer reviews and great product information etrailer.com provides. Great rack so far. Super easy to install. Strudy. Easy to adjust height. Quick and easy removal and re-install when need to make room for oversized loads. Looks awesome on my truck. Very happy this product so far. The adapter kit worked great to mount them on my retrax bed cover. I have been hauling up to 2 kayaks and a rod rack on them and they work great. Very solid and they are the best looking racks I have seen on the road.
I purchased this ladder rack to primarily be a kayak hauler, but also to transport oversized materials, like lumber that doesn't fit well in the cargo bed. What I like best about it is that Yakima makes a kit to mount the rack directly on the T-slot rails on my Roll-n-Lock XT Retractable Tonnaeu Cover. I can mount or dismount the rack in about 10 minutes by myself as needed (a little easier with a helper). The build quality is excellent and is a very solid rack. It offers plenty of anchor points, plus T-slots on the top and bottom of the crossbars. There's some wind noise at higher speeds, but not to terrible. I highly recommend thus product, and is worth the money, especially if you invested in the Roll-n-Lock XT or Retrax XR Retractable Tonnaeu Covers.

I totally agree about the t-slots, it makes installing and uninstalling the rack so much easier than some other racks that don't. It also looks great on your tuck, Sean!
