With its black cerakote finish, rocks and road debris can't chip or ding this hitch, so rust doesn't stand a chance. Plus, it comes with a stainless steel double-sided tow ball, so switching sizes is a breeze.

Towing trailers with different coupler sizes just got easier thanks to the 180 Hitch 2-ball mount. This ball mount features a stainless steel 2" and 2-5/16" hitch ball on opposite ends of the ball mount platform. Switching to the opposite ball is fast and easy - pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank and simply flip over the platform so that either the 2" or 2-5/16" hitch ball is on top. Slide it back up along the shank to the desired height and reinsert the dual pins, hitch up, and go! Because both balls are contained on the platform, you won't have to keep track of separate balls that must be completely removed and installed each time you need to switch trailers.
The 180 Hitch can be used in either the drop or rise position to best suit your application.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Weigh Safe 180 hitch with two ball mount for your three-inch trailer hitch receiver. This 180 hitch is going to slide into your three-inch receiver, so this is gonna be ideal for you if you tow large heavy duty trailers, like those used for hauling commercial loads, heavy equipment, or large recreational vehicles. This is going to provide you versatility in terms of vehicle and trailer configurations. And this is gonna give you a two-inch and 2 5/16 inch double-sided stainless steel tow ball, making switching tow ball sizes very easy for you so you can tow different types of trailers and then when you have the shank in this orientation, you're gonna get a maximum drop of 10 inches. And then when you flip this over, you're gonna get a maximum rise of 11 inches with an incremental adjustment of one inch.
So this is going to give you that height adjustment that you're looking for so you can tow trailers of different heights, all with the same vehicle. Now, with the 2 5/16-inch hitch ball, you're gonna have a gross towing weight of 21,000 pounds. With the two-inch ball, it's gonna be 8,000 pounds and then the maximum tongue weight is 2,200 pounds. Now, this hitch is constructed of aircraft-grade aluminium, giving you superior strength and durability and one of my favorite features of this particular hitch is the premium, very attractive black cerakote finish. This finish is a ceramic coating that's gonna give you an extra layer of corrosion resistance, scratch protection, and durability.
So not only does this finish make this hitch look great on the back of your vehicle, but if you tow in harsh environments such as salty winter roads or extreme weather conditions, this durable finish is going to help protect this hitch, keeping it looking great, and also working properly for many years to come. Now, this also features a dual pin slider lock that's going to make adjusting the height and switching the tow ball sizes very easy. Lemme give you a brief demonstration of that. So I'm gonna take one of the four included keys here, insert the key, give it a turn, that's gonna unlock this, and allow me to slide this out very easily. While I have this out, I do wanna show you that our pins here are constructed of durable aluminium along with the housing.
So this is gonna do a great job of keeping your ball platform secured to your shank. And then our lock here is plated steel. So this is going to really hold up well against the elements that it's going to be constantly exposed to. You're not gonna have to worry about it getting corroded or anything like that. But something else I really wanted to show you is just look how easily that ball platform is going to slide up and down this shank.
So you're not gonna have any problems whatsoever adjusting the height or the tow ball size. So I went ahead and flipped this over to our two-inch ball. And so you're gonna be able to get to the back of your truck, make the adjustment that you need very easily, very quickly, and then you're not gonna have to worry about struggling with that adjustment. I wanted to show you that our slider lock, again, slides very easily. I'm gonna lock this back into place and then replace our tap and that cap or this cover is gonna protect that key way from moisture, dirt, debris and things like that. So now, I'm ready to go down the road. Very easy to get the adjustment that I need. Another added benefit is, you're gonna get a hitch pin lock included with this. I mentioned that you are gonna get four keys. So everything is key to like, so one key is gonna operate our dual pin slider lock and also our hitch pin lock. And then you'll basically have three keys as backup. So you're not gonna have to worry about different sets of keys. And again, the hitch pin lock is gonna be very easy to operate. So you're making an investment here and it comes with the means to protect this investment with great theft deterrent. You're gonna be able to lock your ball platform to the shank and then lock the entire unit up to your three-inch trailer hitch receiver. Lemme give you some measurements. Measuring from the center of our first hitch pin hole to the center of our ball, we're sending about 8.5 inches. Moving to the center of the second hitch pin hole, about 9 5/8 inches. And then from the center of the second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, about 1 7/8 inches. So if you are looking for a hitch, it's gonna be a great, long-term investment for you. That's going to allow you quite a bit of flexibility and safety and durability, especially with this finish. And it's gonna be very easy to use as we saw together. This is really gonna be a great item for you to consider. Well, that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
Nice hitch, solid. Keys for pin and lock are keyed the same, so thats cool. 10" drop for my 2026 2500hd Silverado. Was probably more then I needed, 8" would have been close.
One thing with the 10" drop. The bottom is about even with the duel ball set up anyway, looks nice when stowed(reversed).
This Cerakote finished W/S hitch is made in the USA and worth the extra cost IMO; recommend getting either the 6in or the 8in Drop for flexibility. 2200lb hitch and 18.5K LB tow rating is plenty for my RAM, 6.7 Cummins, 3/4 ton with 2.5inch receiver. I highly recommend this hitch.
I recently used the Weigh Safe Cerakote Coated 180 Hitch with a 6" drop on a 1,300-mile trip, and it was fantastic. It handled everything—road grime, snow, salt, and mud—without ever looking dull or dingy.
The dual-ball design makes switching between trailers super easy, and the adjustable drop works perfectly to keep everything level. It was simple to install and felt solid and secure the whole trip. The locking pins kept everything safely attached to my truck, no worries about someone walking away with it. If you need a tough, reliable hitch that looks great and gets the job done, this one’s a no-brainer. Highly recommend!
