Features to know about

Eliminate Rear-End Sag with Ease: 1,000-lb Load-Leveling Capacity

When you're hauling a hefty load, sagging can be a major issue, affecting both safety and handling. The Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs come to the rescue with a load-leveling capacity of up to 1,000 lbs. Easily installed inside your existing rear coil springs, these air springs keep your vehicle level, ensuring better steering, braking, and an overall smoother ride.

Customize Your Ride Height: Adjustable Air Pressure

For those of us who tow a variety of loads, having control over ride height is key. The Air Lift 1000 lets you manually adjust air pressure anywhere between 5 psi and 35 psi, so you can tailor your suspension to whatever you're hauling. Whether it's a light load or something more substantial, a quick adjustment keeps your vehicle riding smooth and level.

Combat Road Shock and Sway: Durable Polyurethane Construction

Road bumps and sway can be nerve-wracking, especially on long hauls or when towing trailers. Made from tough, molded polyurethane, these springs effectively absorb road shock and diminish sway, enhancing your vehicle's stability for a more laid-back driving experience.

Dual Air Lines for Side-to-Side Leveling: Independent Spring Inflation

When your load isn’t perfectly centered, it can throw off your vehicle's balance. Thanks to the option of dual air lines, you can inflate each spring independently and level out any side-to-side discrepancies. This feature is especially helpful for off-center loads, ensuring your ride remains stable and balanced.

Simplified Setup: DIY Friendly Installation

Don’t dread installation—these helper springs come with an easy-to-follow instruction manual and are a breeze to install with standard tools. Most users find it straightforward enough to do in their driveway, saving both time and money on professional installations.

Keep Your Vehicle in Perfect Form: Level Ride Height Maintenance

Maintaining the correct ride height is crucial for both performance and safety. By measuring the distance between the bottom edge of your wheel well and your wheel hub, you can adjust air pressure in your springs to keep your vehicle at its normal ride height, no matter the load. It's an easy way to preserve optimal vehicle function while towing or hauling.

Installed on a 2024 jeep 392. The install went pretty good, followed the advise of others to install air line to air bag before pushing air bag into the springs. I was a little surprised there was gap between the top of the two spaces and the vehicle stop when i let the jeep back down on the tires. but it does doe what it is suppose to do, lift the rear end under load. would have given 5 stars if there was not the gap.

  • What is the Maximum Air Pressure for Air Lift 1,000 Pound Capacity Air Helper Springs
According to the instructions which I have linked for you for Air Lift suspension enhancement # AL60769, the maximum air pressure is 35 psi and the minimum is 5 psi. Over-inflation and under-inflation can damage the air bags so you will always want to stay within the 5 to 35 psi range.

  • Do You Remove Coil Springs to Install Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs On 2013 Chevy Suburban
The Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs part # AL60769 which are a fit for a 2013 Chevrolet Suburban do not require the coil springs to be removed for installation. I will admit though, there are times were I thought it would be faster and easier to just remove the coil springs as these can sometimes be a bit tiresome to install but nonetheless, it's not required to remove the coil springs. That said, you will need to place a floor jack under the rear of the vehicle while...

  • Air Helper Spring Option for 2018 Chevy Suburban with Auto Leveling Suspension
Per AirLift, their # AL60769 system won't fit 2018 Suburban models equipped with the auto-leveling suspension. SumoSprings offers an option that would work for you, part # SSR-204-40. The SumoSprings would replace the factory jounce bumpers, and would provide 1000 lbs of additional support. The springs help support heavy rear loads to keep your vehicle level, help to absorb bumps and shocks and minimize sway. Unlike air helper springs, the SumoSprings require no maintenance and will never...

  • Timbren or Air Lift Coil Springs for 2013 Chevy Suburban 1500 4WD
For your 2013 Chevy Suburban 1500 with 4-wheel drive, between the Air Lift AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs # AL60769 and Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TGMRYS4 I highly recommend going with the Timbrens. The coil springs will not give you the amount of support the Timbrens do, and the Timbrens have another huge advantage in being maintenance-free. Once you install the Timbrens you don't have to worry about them again, while the Air Lift springs are going to require consistent...

  • Will Air Lift Air Bags Fit a 2016 GMC Yukon XL with MagneRide
I do have an option for you but the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs won't work on a 2016 GMC Yukon XL with MagneRide. That said, we do have a compatible option for you in the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TGMRYS4 which work equally well to provide support while towing or hauling and it works with the MagneRide.

  • When To Inflate In Air Lift 1000 Suspension Enhancement Kits Before or After Hitching to Trailer

  • Highest Rated Suspension Enhancement Option For A 2003 Chevy Tahoe
Hi Bob! The Timbren # TGMRG25C you ordered will have 6,000 pounds of load assist and will be the highest rated option available for your 2003 Tahoe. This will definitely solve your sagging issue, especially if you are close to or at the maximum load capacity of your vehicle. It must be pointed out, when you are unloaded your ride will be noticeably stiffer than your stock suspension due to their heavy duty nature. Personally, I prefer the Air Lift LoadLifter # AL60769 due to the adjustability....

  • What Is The Most Heavy Duty Air Bag System Available For A 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche
For air springs on your 2007 Chevy Avalanche, the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs # AL60769 will be the most heavy duty option we currently have available. As the Chevy Avalanche in the 2007 model year has a max towing capacity of 7,200 pounds (when properly equipped), the 1,000 pounds of load leveling support will typically get the job done. However, if you need something more, we do also have the Timbren # TGMRYS4. This will not be an air bag though, so you cannot adjust it when you...

  • Recommended Air Helper Spring Kit For 2002 Chevrolet Suburban
For your 2002 Chevrolet Suburban 4 wheel drive I recommend the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs - Rear # AL60769 you were looking at. This kit will provide up to 1000lbs of load leveling support to your rear suspension when towing a trailer or carrying heavy cargo in your vehicle. To keep from having to manually inflate the helper springs each time you are ready to tow or carry heavy cargo I recommend adding an on-board air compressor kit like the Air Lift Load Controller...

  • In What Orientation do the Air Lift 100 Air Helper Springs Get Installed on a 2003 Chevy Suburban
When the suspension is under load it won't matter whether or not the air bag is in the top or the bottom of the spring. The pictures you are referring to are showing the air spring in the coil spring with the suspension unloaded and stretched out. Under normal circumstances with the truck on the ground the spring will be almost or actually touching on the top and bottom in the coil spring. All that really matters is that you install the bag with the valve pointing up and protector on top...

  • Air Spring Comparison for 2007 Cadillac Escalade ESV
Both the Firestone # F4108 and Air Lift # AL60769 helper springs are confirmed to fit your Cadillac Escalade as long as you don't have the auto-leveling option. If your Caddy has the auto-leveling you'll need to go with the Firestone. There isn't a lot to separate the two. They install the same and have the same purpose and ratings. Firestone does have the brand recognition. You really can't go wrong either way.

  • Recommended PSI Pressure for Installing AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs in 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe
You are correct that the instructions for AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs # AL60769 indicate to inflate the bags to 35-psi to test for leaks. You are also correct that this is the rated maximum pressure for your specific application in a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe. The bags themselves can handle a much higher pressure without failure. I confirmed this with my technical contact at AirLift. The reason you're advised to test at the maximum for your vehicle is to best confirm there are no leaks...

  • Will the Air Lift AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs Part # AL60769 Raise the Vehicle
The Air Lift AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs part # AL60769 will not raise the vehicle when filled to the lowest air pressure rating of 5 psi or when filled to the max air pressure rating of 100 psi. These coil spring airbags will stiffen the rear suspension when filled, not raise it. I recommend keeping the airbags at a minimum of 5 psi as this will ensure the airbags do not become damaged or deformed. In regards to the suspension components you installed, the shocks...

  • Weight Capacity of the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs
The Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs, part # AL60769, have a total capacity (put together) of 1000 pounds. They are not meant to be a suspension replacement, but more of an enhancement for your existing coil springs. Keep in mind that these do not increase your vehicle's weight capacity. They are more for keeping your vehicle level and diminishing sway. I've linked to a video demonstration of this.

  • 2005 GMC Yukon Sags When Towing, Even When Using Weight Distribution
Let's begin with the basics. In order for a weight distribution system to work correctly, the existing vehicle suspension needs to be in good condition. Then, you'll need to ensure you have the correct system for the tongue weight of your trailer. To choose a weight distribution system, you'll need to first determine the fully loaded and ready to tow tongue weight of your trailer. To that figure, add the weight of any gear stowed in the cargo area of the SUV or truck bed behind the rear...

  • AirLift Air Helper Springs Vs Timbren Enhancement System for a 2004 Cadillac Escalade
The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TGMRG25C can be installed in conjunction with the AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs part # AL60769 but I do not recommend it. Installing both the Timbren's and AirlIft bags would create an extremely stiff suspension which would be rather bouncy and uncomfortable. Instead, I would stick with the AirLift bags as long as the tongue weight of your trailer does not exceed 1,000 lbs. If the tongue weight of your trailer does...

  • Suspension Enhancement Product for 2015 Chevy Tahoe
It sounds like you're needing a suspension enhancement product. I'd recommend the Timbren Aeon spring system, part # TGMRYS4. The springs have a 6000 lb capacity, but they will NOT increase the load bearing capacity of the vehicle. The nice thing about the Timbren springs is that they won't come into play until weight is added to the rear of the vehicle. When the vehicle is unloaded, the vehicle will ride normally. If you click the provided link, you can see a video of the springs being...

Yes, the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs # AL60769 will help to firm up your ride on the rear of your 2018 Chevrolet Suburban 1500. The bags work by pushing between the coils in the rear springs which provides a firmer ride and does not allow the coils to compress as easily.
